man these answers are TERRIBLE!!!! A blood clot forms right after the extraction, after a few days the clot turns white. Food will get caught just rinse with warm salt water and after a week you can lightly brush with a soft toothbrush. After about a month the area will look like nothing was ever there and after MANY years your teeth will collapse and make the gap smaller. That is a bad thing and either an implant or 3 unti brigde should be put in its place so you will be able to chew properly

Yes it will eventually heal over, i've had a few done and they're all fine. It'll feel weird to start with but eventually you get used to it. Depending on which tooth it is you had done, you may find that food makes it's way into the space but you get good at removing it with you tongue!!!

Yes it does don't worry. It took me less than a month to heal. Just take care of it by brushing you teeth well, so that bacteria doesn't accumulate in your mouth then it might get infected.

yes it does. The bone changes shape over time and eventually it will smooth over. It may take at least 6 months for the bone to completely remodel... your skin is replaced by new skin very quickly it has a high turnover, your bone has a very low turnover so it will take ages.

it should close up ... stay away from it... do not disturb it do not eat from that side.. if food get food in there try to use salt water mouth wash..but stay away from it as possible.. it will heal better ..if you play with it too much you will end up getting a dry sucket.. this is worst then getting a toothache..

do not eat that side.
I had 1 tooth extracted in march and even though the hole is close now I still find it difficult sometimes.it is still quite sensible.

yes it will heal. If it doesn't I think you should go see your dentist again- but the mouth heals pretty quickly and you shouldn't have anymore problems.
