she had been diagnosed since 2002. we lived together, everything was good for a lil while but then i would wake up at night to her crying and talking to her mom but i couldnt understand spanish, she would never really sleep, i hardly got any sleep. she would end up yelling at her mom and storm out the door in the middle of the night and i would go after her and she would cry and scream like she was in torture. she would also try to strangle her mom, she would threaten and manipulate me,she would talk so fast about anything she was never tired, full of energy sometimes when she would argue with her mom she would scream and start taking her clothes off. always wanted to go to the hospital, sometimes she refused to take meds, complain of racing thoughts and suicide. always wanted space, she even acted so weird like a lil child and played in the mud, she would write stuff all over the doors.it was like she was out of her mind,is she more than bipolar? what else can she be? she is only 24

Here in America it seems like everyone is obsessed with being skinny. Looking good is on the top of everyone's priority list! There is a fine line between being healthy and so skinny your bones are showing. What's wrong with a woman with curves? Yeah, there is a point where fat is fat, but why are curves now being considered as fat? Not even 80 years ago a size 12 was the perfect size for a woman-now its obese! I would just like to know other people's opinions on this. Would you rather have a woman with curves or bone thin? And why is thin so in now?

I am trying to start a business. I tried to leave some information about my business at the office where I see my psychiatrist. He told me not to leave any information because it is a office of "sick" people. I know for a fact there are many individuals who are Bipolar who hold down professional jobs. Can anyone respond to this?

Yesterday I read someone's response to a question on Y.A. The question was one which has been asked a lot recently. It was by a 13 year old girl asking when her periods would start. The answerer gave what appeared to be a sensible answer, but then finished by telling her to practise safe sex. Am I the only person who thinks it was irresponsible to say that to a child?

I had a miscarriage on October 19th with which the bleeding lasted a week. Once it had died down and with my doctor's permission we decided to start to try again. About a week ago I started to feel pregnant again, swollen and tender breasts, weepy, moody, headaches, exactly as with my previous pregnancies. I took a test which was negative but when I went to the hospital for my final check after the miscarriage they said it was too early to test anyway. This was last Friday, they said a period can take 4-6 weeks to return and would usually be heavier than before. I am really confused as this past Sun when I wiped myself some brown sludge came out, this continued til yesterday. There is not enough to stain a pad and I only noticed it when I wiped, it now appears to have stopped. Would this be a period? Mine are usually heavy, and last a week with bright red bleeding so I am confused, also the fact if it was a period it was a week early is confusing matters. Could it be implantation?

hey, i'll be going on a holiday in europe. mainly switzerland, germany, france and U.K. what i'm wondering over is whether it is okay to wear contacts when i'm there. i'll be arriving in europe next friday.(23th nov) and will stay there for 12 days. i assume its just about winter time right?
the thing is, i want to wear contact lenses instead of my specs. i've been using contacts for about the past 7 mths or so. i use "focus dailies" one-day soft lenses. i've heard that during winter time, it'll be cold and dry...and one's eyes will be sort of dry... and it will be uncomfortable to one's eyes if one is wearing contacts. may i have your point of view on this?
oh and.. on the plane...will it be fine to wear contacts? i dont plan to buy any special lenses. i plan to use my ordinary one-day ones. thanks a bunch people. =)

Why do my lips feel tight when I talk?
My lips have been feeling like corn starch. When I talk it's kind of hard to say words without more effort than normal. Why is that? Anyone ever experience that. I take Celexa but I don't know if that's a side effect. If it's not that I don't know what it is.
