I have fibromyalgia and am on disability for that, but this back pain is truly horrible. After the mri was taken, i bent over and now i can barely move. should i tell my dr. or is this normal with ruptured discs? my next appt. is three weeks away and I am trying to give myself time to heal, and not run to the dr. everytime something like this flares up. Any suggestions?

My 4yr. old daughter has asthma and allergies too. We have a nebulizer machine at home and her albulerol for when ever she needs it but I really dont like this medicines they dont do nothing but controlled it and I wish there was something outhere that can take her asthma away. If you experience this or even tried it I will love to hear your opinions and if it work.

the youngest 5 out of my 7 kids have this weird habit of falling asleep during the day in odd places. I'll be in the kitchen, and 3 of them will run through screaming/playing tag, whatever, and 5 min, later i'll go into the living room and down the hall, and one is under the cofee table, one is in the bathtub, and the other is on the bottom stairs, all fast asleep. 5 min. later they are all running around again, when i get back to the kitchen, one of them is fast asleep on the kitchen counter.they are like this all day, hyper, asleep, hyper, asleep. i wouldn't mind if they slept in their beds when they got tired, but underneath the dining room table? they won't even sleep on the couch, behind the couch, but not on the couch. i've tried talking to them, threatening them, punishing them, and nothing works. the 5 who do this are ages 5, 6, 6, 8, & 9. the oldest 2 ages 12 & 13 sleep often to, but they sleep in their beds. any ideas on how to get them out of this habit?

What do you think?............

I'm a fella and have just finished working and living in Malaysia for 12 months. I noticed that there is often no paper provided in toilets, but there is always a hose-pipe. I asked one or two friends about this and it became clear that the locals frequently only use water and their hand (always the left hand).
I have always been meticulously clean down there, usually using wet wipes. So I got to like the Asian way, and now, at home in UK, I do it with a hose and my hand, never using paper.
Now I can be sure of being clean, and I hate it when I have to use a public toilet with paper.

Does anyone else do this?

Ok I am on yasmin birth control, and I will stay on birth control untill I graduate from college. This is my first time on a real perscription that has refills, I have a week and a half to get my refill, what do I have to do to get my refill? Do I just call the pharmacy a day before hand and tell them i am calling in for a refill or what? Would they have it ready?

Another question, if I go to planned parenthood to get birthcontrol and they give me something other than yasmin (at the moment my fiance and I can't really afford to pay $60 a month for it yet) will it take a whole month again for it to take real effect?

I just had a baby on August 2nd. I got that lochia stuff for about 4 weeks and it went away. About 2 weeks later I started bleeding again so I thought it was my period and I started the patch. Well, I never stopped bleeding the whole time I had the patch on (3 weeks). It wasn't heavy it was like spotting. I descided I didn't want the patch anymore and had my doctor give me a script for Jolessa. After the 3 weeks of having the patch on I took it off (supposed to be my off week) I did start to bleed heavier so assumed it was my period. I started the Jolessa on that Sunday because your supposed to start on the sunday of the week of your period. Well, I have been spotting every since for about 2 weeks now. Is this all normal. Will all this spotting stuff eventually go away. I never used hormone birth control before and I used to be very regular as far as my period goes.

This is just some information I want to share with all you woman. If you have any of those signs I mentioned, then you might be going through POF - Premature Ovarian Failure (running out of eggs). I was 21 when I was diagnosed.

Please go see your OB/GYN and insist on getting your FSH and LH hormone levels tested. I wish I knew about this when I was younger. The doctors don't do tests, they put you on bc pills and all is forgotten.

Check out this website for more information on POF: http://pofsupport.org/information/factsheet/fact_sheet_english.pdf

Good Luck to all of you!

I have a crown that is 10 years old. Started to experience extreme sensitivity. He did an x ray and found decay under the crown. Went in today to get the old crown removed and impressions for the new crown. He found more decay than he expected.
The tooth is in the top right and very back of my mouth. He said I should think about either extraction or root canal.
What are the advantages/disadvantage of each?
If I get the root canal can the decay still return at a later date?
How painful is the root canal?
Thanks!!

I have my prescription already- I'm just not sure whether to start taking them on the first day of my period (today). or wait until Sunday? It says you can do either, but is one better than the other? My doctor didn't really cover this with me. Any help would be great. =]
