ummm i heard that a "super bug" bacteria is going around thats IMMUNE TO ANTIBIOTICS. i also heard one person dies every 30min from it. i also heard it starts with an ear infection that ends up killing u. it cant be stopped. can someone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese explain it very thoroughly and clearly to me? and what are the chances of allieving its killng ability? HELP!!!!

I read your advice on my previous question, and thank you for this. I have taken the subject up with my son, told him I talked to a shrink (which I did,) and said it is a feasible option.

Someone mentioned that a person not acting rationally should not be able to make serious decisions themselves.

He is acting rationally, comparatively for him. He refuses medications, and refuses the mental hospital.

The thing that scares me is that the trip, according to research will scar his record. It is already probable he won't make it into the colleges he wants to get into, even with an IQ of 150+ and great SAT/ACT scores, 600+ hours of veterinary 'internship.'

He says that if he can't get into these colleges because I sent him, regardless of "depression," he will kill himself.

No meds can cure someones dreams being shattered, can they? What can I do?

This is only until I can get to a dentist. I have had this throbbing toothache for about a week now and I've been taking aleve. At first, the aleve was helping but now it is not doing much. I have also heard bad things about aleve, so I want to lay of of that. I tried orajel, but that only made it worst. What do you guys truly recommend.

I have to have upper jaw surgery to fix my underbite. They are going to move the upper jaw forward and widen it and do a bone graft. Has anyone had this procedure done? I want to know what to expect before going through with it. I know to ask the doctor but I would REALLY like to hear from someone who actually went through with it!

My husbands wiped out pretty bad @ the lake a couple of months ago and his ear has been hurting pretty bad since then. He says that it sounds like there is water in it but he cleans it out several times a day and it never changes. The other day he was cleaning it out and a little bit of blood was on the q-tip.
Does anyone know what is wrong with him and what he should do about it?

I usually use Trojan Magnums, but they are so thick that there is a huge loss in sensation. I have tried regular size ultra-thins, the feeling is way better, but they are too tight and start to hurt after a little while.

My boyfriend deals with stress by doing drugs. He obviously uses the high as an escape.

I care about my boyfriend very much. I just wish he would care for himself.

I don't want to leave him when he obiviously needs support.
Mostly everyone in his life has left him behind when he needs help. I don't want to do that to him, but I also deal with my own issues (including depression...) this is very hard.

Most people just say "make him choose between you or drugs". Its not that easy. I want to be there for him & hopefully help him understand WHY he doesn't need them.

Sure, not everyone is stress-free 100% of the time... I don't feel drugs will change that.. if anything, they leave matters worse once the high fades away..

so, am an international student here in the states, on a very strict student budget.. life is way more expensive than i thought here! and the fees are paying i just didn't expect them, anyways, that leaves me starving some days :) seriously!

i end up having lots of coffee, some chocolate and junk food from the vending machines.. was ok at the beginning but eventually it makes me damn sick. the thing is, is there any really afordable healthy food i can get and in relatively enough quanitites for a week, say? or what dietry advice can you give me? i got some cereal, milk, and bread today.. and some JUNK food.. but i feel such stuff make me just gain wait, get lots of spots and acne, and simply turn my stomach upside and down. advice?
