I have M.S. and lately I have noticed that many foods taste very unpleasant. I see my neurologist tomorrow and am afraid that if I bring this up, he's going to think I'm crazy.

Has anyone else with M.S. experienced this symptom?

And please, don't try to sell me the latest "miracle" cure or diet plan...I don't need that kind of advice.

Ive got a really bad cold, and i know that there is no cure for this, but are there any ways for me to ease this. My nose is completely blocked, but running at the same time! I wouldnt mind but its running like crazy!!
Also my nose has become very chapped, think i should have shares in vaseline!! Any advice on what to do to ease this bloody thing!!

My daughter is having her first period. She started 2 days ago. The first day wasn't too bad but last night and today she has soaked through x-large overnight pads and her clothes several times. Is this normal for the first time? I can't remember it being that heavy.

okay so i'm 17 & i'm a fairly small girl. I'm a 32/34A & 5'1 & 95 lbs (i'm not anorexic or anything, this is apparently a healthy weight for me cuz i've tried & can't really gain weight) & i'm very fit cuz i'm a dancer & a black belt.

i've been doing pushups lately (for martial arts, not many though, like 25)

i've been drinking a high calorie shake everyday (800 calories) along with my normal food

& my breasts get all sore & tender & bigger around my period, they didn't used to, this started about 4-5 months ago (before i started the pushing & drinking the shake)

does this mean my breasts are growing in size? or does it just mean they're "maturing"? (i still don't have a fully erect nipple yet) or have they just decided to start getting sore around my period? they ususally hurt the week before my period & the week of.

help please? my family tends to be A or B cups usually btw.

also, how much longer do I have to grow most likely?

Well.. I am currently 17, and have had my period since I was about 10. Ive always had irregular periods.but..

For ex., November of 2006, I had a record lasting period: 28 straight days. No cramps, no pain.. just bleeding. Very HEAVY bleeding for a few of those days.. sometimes having to change my tampon every 45 mins.

Then, after that I didnt have a period again until probably March or April of 2007. Idk..

I was wonderin if there is somethin wrong.
I kno there is.. but I am thinkin if I go to the doctor, they
are just going to put me on birth con. or somethin.
& I dot want that.. I want to know if there is a serious
problem.

What do you think?
Oh, sorry if I wasn't really clear.. here is a calander
of what if they are usually like..
Jan- no period.
Feb- no period.
March- period lasting 28 days.
April- period lasting 6 days.
May- period lasting 2 days.
June- no period.
July- no period.

I have a constant headache, and it advances into a migraine. I get sick and have to hide in my room with pillows over my head. The headache never goes away completely, and I haven't found anything that offers any relief.

Hey there,so I went to Boston Market last night, and I ate there, now, early this morning, I had bad stomach pain, and I felt like I was going to throw up, granted I did. Four times, the first two was the food. (Corn and turkey) And the second was water that I was drinking. And when I go to the bathroom, my poop is not solid, it's more of a liquid. And has a horrible smell, is this food posioning or just a bug?

Two years ago I experienced several consecutive months of emotional trauma. Since then I have been almost unable to feel any kind of joy or satisfaction from any activity. In spite of being continuously treated with strong doses of anti-depressants the situation has not improved (although it shows no signs of worsening). I am aware that the region between psychology and neurology is a grey area (no pun intended), but I am wondering if there is a medical condition with the characteristics I have described.

I got my period today,but now my stomache is so swollen.It like im about 5 months pregnant.No joke.There is no chance that i could be pregnant either.But it really hurts and i cant sit up straight i have to sort of lay on it to calm the pain a little.Im really worried.Its mking me go a bit dizzy, its so painfull and its the worst pain ive ever felt. Any ideas of what it could be or what to do to calm the sweling ?The pain feels like period pains but it is sharper and less dull.Help!!

First of all, so you'll know how I feel about my breasts - I don't like them.They sag too much and there's too much of a size difference. I've cried trying to find a bra. And when I loose weight, they shrink down to nothing and I look flat chested without bra on. The surgeon gave me a choice of a lumpectomy or mastectomy. With the lumpectomy, I would have to have radiation, and possibly more surgeries if they don't get it all. It's the smaller breast, so threre would be even more of a difference, and it would be misshapen. It's the type that hasn't spread, so with the mastectomy (I'd have them both removed) it would be over and done with. I'd only have to recover from the surgery, then I could get on with my life. I hear prosthetics are uncomfortable, though. If it turns out I can't except it, I could always have them reconstructed. And if a man can't accept it, then he doesn't love me enough. What would you do?

I have found varying opinions when searching online. I gained a ton of weight years ago on Zyprexa, which was not the right medication for me, anyway...But I just want a straight answer about Effexor and whether there is a good proportion of people gaining weight on it. Please only answer if you're informed (i.e. you have been on it, you're a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, etc.)

Not really a question, just wanted to share that and see if anyone else noticed that after using calcium citrate. I looked into it on the internet a while back, and seems like I read that it can cause a change in your skin like that. I was always so fair skinned, rarely tanned, but now I can actually get a tan. Interesting.
