Ive been feeling anxiety and stress the last couple of months I cant seem to relax and enjoy things I used to, but at the same time its not that bad, when I am surrounded by people I tend to forget about it, but when im alone, I think alot, is there any over the counter meds, like st john wort, that is any good, never tried meds, have been to counseling on off.

I have been going through the same thing lately. It is a very frustrating feeling because I am ALWAYS happy and upbeat. It kills me that I worry so much lately. To answer your question, I don't think the answer is meds. You don't want fake happiness. Life is all about learning about yourself and who you are. Obviously something is not right or missing your life. If you feel better when you are around people then surround yourself with people. Try exercise classes or cooking classes. There are a million different natural things to do in the world to relieve stress without the help of meds

You'd have to go to a health food store to find out about over the counter meds. As a felllow woman with anxiety problems (panic and anxiety attacks) I believe that Klonopin is a miracle drug. And your doctor would have no problem giving you a prescription. Be sure to get the generic. Your doctor will probably give you .5mgs. That's a very small dose. Ask him to give you 1mg. tabs to save you money. You can cut them in half. And you might see that .5 isn't quite enough for you anyway. But give .5 a good chance. Good luck! :)

Try Kalms or Quiet Life or look for the strees relief unction that you can get in the Bach Flower Remedy range.All herbal and non -addictive, hope this helps

just relax when ur self and listen to music....what ever happens dont feel ur self tighten up or feel ur life is going down..i do sometimes,but just keep a cool head. drinks lots of tea.that helps .

talk doesn't help, i went to a shrink for 10 years, you need meds, like xanix. if your Doc wont give them to you get them online like my son does, he couldn't function without them, I'm the same, i take 3 a day, good luck.

try a yoga workout video.. yoga is supposed to releive stress........try righing out how you feel or talk to a friend..hope i helped
