hello (: well my brother threw a plate on my head well it was not glass.......but its swollen i din't bleed,what do u think of it is it serious? but its a small one not very big its just swollen i put some ice but its still not helping any suggestions???thank u have a good day

I get very sharp pains in my ear.
The last for a second or so and come in short bursts of pain.
I don't really want to waste time at a doctor for him to tell me it's nothing.
They come and go. Any idea? Should I be concerned?

During a physical the doctor said he was going to check my liver and he hit on my side (not hard at all). He said it shouldn't hurt and I told him it didn't because I couldn't fail the physical (I'm in the Marine Corps). What was he checking for? Should I see a doctor?

I am currently taking Yasmin given to me by my regular GYN; however, my insurance won't cover the price of it, so I have to pay $50 a month for it. I am a student in college and I just don't have enough to continue to keep buying it. I've heard of people getting either free or reduced price in birth control from Planned Parenthood. Is this true or is it still based on your insurnace the price you get for your birth control? Any advice??

I always have blood in my urine,protein,and most of the time i have kidney stones.I've also had kidney failure in the past but i no longer have to get that treatment.I'm just wondering if i should go back to the cancer doc.I'm always in pain from my kidneys and i'm only 27.My liver has also shut down on me before but i got that back 100%,i started having seizures in 2002 just out of no where.Please somebody help me i've been tested for lupus but thats always neg.I know it can take awhile to get a postive one if u have it but does anybody else have anything they can think of?Help would be wonderful. bren

After a brief sexual encounter at the beginning of the year, I noticed a few skin tags began appearing on my foreskin. It wasn't until a month or so later that they became greater in number. Then I sought advice from my local sexual health clinic, where I was diagnosed with HPV/ Gential Warts. I was given a solution to put on the warts and they were all gone within the space of 2 weeks.

Anyway, since then I now find myself in a stable relationship with a girl who I adore. I have not mentioned previously being infected with warts, as they are no longer visable.

At the moment we're using condoms during sex, however, now she has been on the pill for some time, I'm being pressured to have sex without a condom... is it safe to do so?... without her contracting warts!

Because I'm under the impression from the information gathered on the net, that I'll forever be infected with the virus & am susceptible to outbreaks whenever my immune system is down?!

Can hpv be transmitted through kissing a guy on the lips?

I gave two bjs and kissed many people, but I am completely a virgin, htere has never been vaginal contact with anyone or anything; so

if i had sex with someone new with or without protection, would they still contract the hpv iof i have it?

Would it not be pointless to get a pap test or whatever if the only contact I had with people was through my mouth?

Would there still be signs of it where nothing has ever been?

My little sister in-law has chicken pox, and I have cancer and Lupus.An now I have rash around my stomache and a couple of days ago I had to go the hospital because I had SEVERE stomache ache. ok, so normally i don't get period pain because i am so active so i only get it once every 3-6months and it isn't tha bad. But this time when i get craps they are really sharp especially when i got to the toilet, it feels like someone is stabbing me, but its not just in the normal place you get period pains, it feels like its in my rectum and bladder and then when my period is over and i'm not in the bathroom or need to go to the bathroom the pain all but goes away :S is somthing wrong?

Around 6 months ago, I started to notice a lump on the inside of my vagina, and several smaller bumps on them that are growing, and getting hard. I'm extremely nervous about these, so I consulted my school nurse (I've known her all my life and really trust her) and she told me to go to the gynocologist for it, and also to go on birth control because I have really bad cramps when I have my period.

We called my mother together, and described the problem, and my mother said that she would make a gynocologist appointment, but she hasn't yet. It's been about a month and a half, but I'm scared to ask her again because my mother is very strict.

How can I ask her again without seeming like I'm nagging? Also, what could the bump be?

I have been to 3 ENT's, have had every test known to man & not one so-called dr. can give me the reason for this terrible, irritating pounding in my right ear. I do not have high blood pressure, I have low cholesterol, I checked out perfectly with brain scans & still no answer why this has been going on for almost 2 years now, why do they go to medical school if they can't find out the cause ?
