Just because the warts are physically gone doesn't necessarily mean the virus that causes them is (HPV).
There is NO cure for HPV. Luckily, many people are able to get rid of the virus. Their body can basically "fight off" the virus. But, not everyone is so lucky. Some people will have HPV their entire life. And, just because a person may have got rid of HPV before, doesn't mean they will never get it again. They can always become infected again.
Unfortunately there is NO test for men to detect HPV. They usually find out they have HPV by developing warts from it. But, not everyone with HPV develops warts and sometimes it can take several months and even years to develop them. So, people can go for years and years not realizing they have this virus. Even if you think you got rid of your HPV, it's basically impossible to know for sure because there is no test for men.
I would definitely tell her you have HPV, even if you think you got rid of it. Also, condoms are not 100% effective in preventing the spread of HPV or any other STD. STDs like HPV and genital herpes can be spread by direct skin to skin contact. So, even if the condom is covering your penis, it's not covering your whole genital area. Just the rubbing back and forth of the skin during sex is enough to spread the virus.
If I were you I would tell her you have it. I would also tell her about the new vaccine for HPV called Gardasil. It's for women ages 9 - 26. ANY woman can get it, whether they have had sex or not, or have HPV or not (a lot of people think you have to be a virgin and that's NOT true). This new vaccine protects against 4 different kinds of HPV, two known to cause about 90% of genital wart cases and two known to cause about 70% of cervical cancer cases. If a woman already has HPV it won't cure her of it, but it can possibly prevent her from contracting a kind of HPV she doesn't already have. Say, for example, a young girl only has one kind of HPV that the vaccine prevents. Theoretically, if she gets the vaccine, she'll be protected from contracting the other 3 kinds of HPV that the vaccine protects against.
Check out these links for more information about the vaccine:

Good luck!

What you are currently doing is unfair to your girlfriend. If you adore her like you said- you would have told her about the warts before you started having sex with her....or after posting this question you certainly better be telling her now. You did NOT give her the option of whether or not she wanted to have sex with you WITH the knowledge that you have HPV. You took away her choice by not disclosing. Just because the warts are gone does not mean you are "cured". You cannot "cure" a virus.
Even though you are having sex with a condom she is still at risk of contracting HPV/warts from you. Proper condom usage does not prevent the transmission of HPV/warts. Don't even think of having sex with her without a condom. If your girlfriend does not currently go for regular pap smears- encourage her to go now.

I think that you should let this girl know what you have because no one deserves to be given a disease by the person that they love and I am talking from experience. The girl does not deserve it and if you really care for her than you need to do what you KNOW is right! Also, why don't you want to use condoms??? What is the matter with you? you just got a STD for the rest of your life and yet you are still having unprotected sex?
I would like to wish you well and I hope that one day you realize that what you are doing is wrong and hopefully it is not too late or you get punished for what you are doing!

You'll always have to use condoms, with or without warts that are seen. The virus is still there and can be passed on. But then again, it's not just from fluids, you catch it skin to skin also so she might already be infected but just don't know it yet. Not all people get warts, however they are still infected.

Your right you will always have the virus. I too have genital warts. But I always make my boyfriend wear a condom. Ask your doctor if there is any chance she can contract the virus even though your not have an outbreak. Every time I go for my checkup, I always ask if they see any warts and they say no so I'm not sure if your girlfriend can get it if you have no outbreaks. Good luck hope I helped a little.

I got identified with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about five years back, while I was still attending college and had a mindless one-night stand. I know loads of young ladies will declare this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/zHE2B everything changed.
Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the hsv from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a crowded cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This system provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the World.

If you do not need to produce unpleasant therapies such as for instance freezing, acids, or operations then the thing you need will be here https://tr.im/4IPDY , Moles, Warts, and Skin Tags Removal program to be able to remove any epidermis tag.
The techniques from Moles, Warts, and Skin Tags Removal system suit all epidermis types, whether gentle or dark. They work with darker skin types just as good as they do on bright epidermis forms and this is among the strongest benefits of this program.
Around 12,000 individuals from all over the world have properly used the initial methods to eliminate warts, moles, and epidermis tags.
Therefore if you want to remove your moles, warts or some other epidermis label in a painless and natural way then Moles, Warts, and Skin Tags Removal system is everything you are looking for.

No it's not. You are forever infected with the virus and therefore can forever pass it on whether you have an outbreak or not.
There are anti-virals like valtrex which supposedly reduce the risk of passing it on.
You need to inform you girlfriend PRONTO. Condoms do not 100% protect her since you can contract the disease from skin contact and you have a lot of skin down there not covered by a condom.

HPV cannot be cured, only treated. It is a virus. Tell me what virus has ever been cured by a human w/o a vaccination....none.
Your symptoms are gone and the outbreaks are under control but yes they are prone to flaring up again. Your partner can still contract the virus so be very careful.

You will forever be infected. It does not mean that it will be visible all the time, but the possibility of spreading the virus is always there. You should NOT have unprotected sex with your partner unless, of course, she is WILLING to get infected as well.
