Assuming you wear a condom (properly) and assuming the person is riddled with STI's (for now ignore the ones you catch regardless like crabs), what is the chance you would catch something?

I once heard a simile something like 'it would be like pushing a golf ball through 10 feet of rubber' or such. Anyone know what the actual phrase is?

My tailbone is killing me, but I didn't fall on it or anything. I recently had a long car ride, and after it I noticed the spot where I was sitting (my tailbone) was very sore. It is definitely the tip of the bone that feels sore. I figured it would go away but seems to be getting worse the more I sit on it. Is this a bruised tailbone, even though there was not blunt force? Or is it something else?

Ok, I got the shot once back in October, then never again. Pretty much all of the first three weeks in March I had random spotting and cramping. I would cramp gradually from light to pretty bad, then it would stop, and I'd spot, no more than 2 days at a time. Then in the beginning of April, spotting and cramping for for like 2 days in the beginning of the month. Yep, and now today, same thing, but no spotting yet. Ans sometimes the spotting is so light it is just pink. I take a pregnancy test once a week and still nothing. I have gone to the doc for my yearly exam, and they haven't gotten back to me. That was a month and a half ago, so I don't think they found anything weird going on. Has anyone else ever had this kind of craziness? I know depo can take a while to get out of your system, but really is cramping and spotting common?

I am 5 foot 6 and weigh 136 pounds. I'd like to get down to about 126 pounds by the time I go on holiday. I am cutting out all carbs and eating salads containing lots of beans, quorn, peppers, peas, celery, tomatoes, etc (basically veg and beans). I am also trying to do more exercise. Do you think that this is a silly diet or not? Do you think I will lose the desired amount of weight? Will I feel rubbish if I do this? I've done it for a day and feel alright.

I have been dealing with lower back & hip pain for some time now. I can not stand for more than 15 - 20 minutes at a time. I get alot of pressure in my lower back and lots of hip joint pain. The doctor said that is because of the disk & the tear. I have been going to physical therapy for 3 months now 3 times a week. How much longer before this is healed? The doctor also stated that it is not bad enough for a surgery or a shot in the lower spine. I really need some answers.

Soon to enter the House of Representatives is HR 1592, a bill designed to protect EVERYONE against hate crimes, including crimes against a person's race, religion or sexual orientation.
The full body of the bill can be read here: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h110-1592

Now, here are some quotes from wholesome Christian sources:
"Despite what its advocates say, this is not about crime -- it's about special treatment," said the Family Research Council. "HR 1592 would further carve out 'tiers' of victims, putting more importance on crimes committed against a Rosie O'Donnell than against her next-door neighbor."

"By refusing to accept the amendment on religious freedom, the Democrats have proven their purpose is to silence Christians," stated TVC Chairman Rev. Louis P. Sheldon.

I go to the doctor to get help with my diabetes but I always end up in these frustrating situations of refusing treatment. Flu shots, painkillers, cholesterol meds, like that. I live in California. Doesn't a patient have a right to refuse without being hassled? Can you be kicked out of an HMO or other program for NOT taking their pills? Thanks.
