I have a photo shoot on Friday. I just found some pimples on my forehead and a ton of other blemishes. I also have bags and dark circles under my eyes. I'm going to try and sleep more this week but I don't think it will work in time. I cannot wear make up during the shoot. Anyone have any home remedies on how to remove all this? Also does anyone have a recipe to making home made hair removal wax?

I went walking the other day and now my shins are sore because I overextended my steps and because I didn't stretch. Does anyone know any stretches that are good for your shins? Thanks a head of time!

I dont get spots anywhere else - just my shoulders!

They can be quite large, red, inflamed and painful. And as i said, i only get them on my shoulders. I do not pick them, i just rub sudocreme into them, although it doesnt seem to help very much.

Why do i get these spots on my shoulders? And what can be done about them?

Thanks!

Are you immune to once you get them? Once you get them you can't get them again? There's a specific one I'm looking for (not to get or anything, just personal eddification) and I can't remember it. It's not chicken pox, strep throat, flu or cold (obviously). Thank you.

My step-son has the AIDS virus. He has been in the hospital for 3 weeks with PCP pneumonia. They have given him 3 different antibiotics and steroids. They say his lungs are looking better and he is coughing up stuff. His oxygen level remains low however. He cannot get up and go to the bathroom without getting winded.

Would he be considered to have AIDS because his body alone could not fight off this pneumonia and it is considered a determinating factor of AIDS diagnosis?

Since last weekend, I have been having an issue with my left eye (one that previously had retinal surgery years ago). When I move my eyeball left or right, up or down, it seems like a gnat floats by quickly. It is sort of a light flash--but faint, but not like the symptoms that I have been reading about on-line. Could this be a sign of detachment? Is it possible that my excessive sneezing due to severe allergies (the pressure of the sneeze) jarred my retina?

My daughter has been very unwell for over a year. She cannot keep food down and is sick after every meal. She does not have an eating dis-order. At the moment she is in hospital and has been for 2 weeks. She asked them to tube feed her. This they did gladly and inserted the tube into her stomach. This did not work and she was sick again. They then inserted it into her lower intestine and it worked for a few days then she was sick again. They are going to send her for an isotope meal (?) If she cannot keep anything down how will this work ? The doctors do not know what is going on with her and she is desparate. All she wants is to be healthy again. Please only genuine answers. We don't want to lose her.

free days and then took the first microgynon pack as i would if it had been dianette... i have just read that you are not supposed to have a break when changing pill types. the microgynon didnt agree with me at all and i have now discontinued taking it after the first month. could my having the break in between be the reason that it drove my hormones crazy? and more importantly, would i have had contraceptive protection in this time?

My brother put a plate in the microwave and dropped it because it was so hot so I picked up the pieces and burned myself.
My finger hurts really bad I have been putting water on it but after the water dries the pain returns.
Anyway to fix this without cream?

This sounds odd, but when having a smear test I had a lot of pain. Although not a virgin, I never seem to have widened 'down below' and the tightness causes a sharp pain when the implement used for the smear test is put inside me. The doctor told me to come back in a couple of weeks and she'd try again but I am now worried that I am tighter than I should be and that it's going to cause me further trouble. Anyone else had this problem and any tips on how to loosen a bit? (Except by having more sex).

I don't eat a lot of fresh fruit, just one banana or apple a day, but I do drink two 8 oz. glasses of orange juice a day. I don't eat a lot of vegetables, probably average 1 serving a day. I drink one 8 oz. glass of V-8 a day. Am I getting enough fruit and vegetable portions? Other than that, I eat a fairly healthy diet of whole grains, chicken, salmon, beans and nuts. I am allergic to milk, so I use soy substitute which I know is good for me. I make up for calcium by eating other dairy products such as cheese.

How am I doing nutrition wise?

Is it PEP or something like that? just wondering if anyones taken it, what it feels like and how safe it actually is - I mean, smoking and alcohol have serious side effects.
