I have just been asked to stand up in a wedding on 7 /7/07. I had no idea this was coming, I have packed on so much weight in the last two years. I need to lose 35 pounds to get back to my normal weight range. She's making me wear a shot dress with spaghetti straps and it's going to be on the beach!! Imagine my horror! I would like to hear from someone who has lost a large amount of weight quickly and how they did it. I need all the details.

I have scars on my face from pimples. Never had acne though! I need a way to reduce these scars as much as possible. And...How do i reduce the apperance of the pimples I have already? I am leaving on vacation in 2 days, and would like them to be as non-noticeable as possible!

Tonight I will be having my first sleep study. I'm not sure exactly what to bring or what to even expect. My dad has had multiple sleep studies so I know that they put on a bunch of wires all over your body but what else do they do other then watch you sleep? Thanks in advance.

Ok, this is my problem. Today I could sit and cry, but yesterday i ran around like a chicken with my head cut off. My life is great right now, and i shouldnt be worried about anything, but last night my kids spilled some juice in the floor and i just blew up at them. I was in a good mood and everything till that. I dont sleep good, I can't concentrate sometimes, and other times thoughts and ideas just flow through my head and I can't stop them. I know that mental disorders are hereditary, and my mother lives in a mental instution because she has several different things wrong with her. does anyone else have anything like this? What did you do?

I just went to a gastrologist today and found out that I have to go in and have a endoscopy done at the hospital. Can anyone that's had one done before tell me what too expect from the procedure and is it outpatient,do I get too go home after the procedure is done?

I've been told my knee pain was growing pains, arthritis, and plain old stretching of ligaments. They started, I think, when I was 5 and still continue to this day. I don't have the pain all the time, and it's not always in both knees. I am overweight now, but I wasn't until a few years ago. Also, when I bend my knees, they crunch. I've gone to more than my share of doctors about this and no one can tell me what it is for sure or how it can be treated, if possible. Any ideas?

When I work out on my treadmill it's sometime hard for me to jog and I resort to just brisk walking. How can I be more successful with jogging instead of just walking. I feel like my heart is coming through my chest when I do anything over 25 min of jogging. What I usually do is just finish out my 1hr with a brisk walk which is much better for me to manage.

Any suggestion is welcome...

I have a gum boil (fistula) due to a failed root canal on a tooth that's a support for a front bridge. Had it treated by drilling through the tooth & cleaning out the infection, but it didn't take. I still have the fistula & it's worse. Endodontist said the tooth has a fracture so bacteria can still get in. I sat in her chair three times, paid a grand & the infection's
worse than before. Hurts now too. Always aware of it. Annoying and a fear of bone loss. And her & my dentist say the next step is to pull the tooth, lose the bridge & get implants? Like I got that kind of money.
Needless to say I'm not happy. Couldn't she have cleaned out the infection and sealed the fracture? My dentist sealed the temp filling the Endo put in and said nothing should get through. But if there's still infected space there? My feeling is the endodontist did a sloppy job and missed all the infection. Am I wrong in thinking that? Can I try again to get the infection removed? Any other alternatives?
