Tonight I will be having my first sleep study. I'm not sure exactly what to bring or what to even expect. My dad has had multiple sleep studies so I know that they put on a bunch of wires all over your body but what else do they do other then watch you sleep? Thanks in advance.

You will be hooked up to EKG monitoring and oxygen saturation level monitoring, you may be given a mild medication to help you fall asleep, there should be no pain involved and all you need to do to prepare is wear comfy jammies and bring your own pillow if you prefer Hope this helps

Your pajamas and a pillow is about all you really need to bring, unless you're also taking medicine.
