I have a dark purplish brown ring about halfway down my shaft. I seems to get darker when I have an erection and fades a bit when limp. It's been there for about a month and makes an almost complete circle. What is it and how can I get rid of it?

I have a question to dentists and dental assistants regarding dental anesthesia. What are the precautions or safety measures used to ensure that the dental tool used to inject anesthesia is not accidentally used twice on different patients without sterilizing. I am asking coz I am afraid that the dentist might forget to sterilize the tool and end up using it on me after being used on a patient before me and thus putting me at risk for HIV

How many other ambitious teenagers in high school out there often stay up past midnight finishing homework and other school activities? I do that often. I am concerned however about my health. I had little black spots on my molars,they have been there since i was 6 or less. I'm 18 now.....I used to have a dentist phobia when I was litle.....so i never went to a dentist before last month.
I finally decided to go to the dentist, he said that I have 8 cavities and they all need filling. I was very suspecious, so I thought I'd get a second opinion. I went to another one, she said I only have three. So I was a bit confused, I thought I would get a third opinion, the third dentist said they're just small caries that won't grow up and there is no need for filling...........I felt happy when I heard that. But now I'm kinda scared it's really cavity and they're growing up inside where i can't see. What should I do?

this is so weird... i looked up what people who are my height and weight are....but most of them fit into about size 8..

what i don't get is how i can be 5'4", weigh 128 and still fit comfortably into a size 4...

it just doesn't seem natural....

even though i am fairly muscular and work out daily the difference is really startling to me...so could someone please tell me if this is normal and good...

(and if someone also feels so inclined, could they tell me a way to lose about 8 pounds...i still need to get rid of some excess fat around the jolly old stomach area...)

(also for the record i'm in my teens)

What's up everyone. I find this Yahoo! Answers to be very informative and I would like to thank everyone who participates.

I love my stepmother to death. She works as an RN in the psychiatric unit and absolutely loves it. The problem is EVERYDAY she does nothing but mopes around the house and watches T.V. (Law & Order, Strong Medicine) She never speaks unless she is spoken to, and if she is spoken to, she's very modest with her choice of words.

She just seems so independent. The only time she will come out of her "shell" is when she is drinking. That is the only time she is actually cool. But my father is in love with her, so whatever. But she's kind of a ***** and sometimes only cares about her and herself only. I once saw her looking up information on the web regarding a personality disorder.

What do you people think ?
