Some people don't grow their wisdom teeth until they get old and some people never grow any at all.
Don't worry though, most people have nothing but problems with them when they do grow in and usually have to have them surgically removed.
I did, at the age of 19, because they grew in impacted, which means that they grew in sideways instead of out through the gums, and would have pushed all my teeth forward thus making them all crooked.

It is possible for your wisdom teeth not to develop. Now I only took Dental Assisting in High School (which was over 10 years ago). But I do remember that some may develop at a later age, if not at all. Just like it is possible for baby's to be born with teeth.

It's not very common, but it is normal. I myself, have eight wisdom teeth. When I asked my dentist he said it doesn't happen all the time but it still happens to a select few. There is the upside that you'll never have to have them cut out.

YES! Its perfectly normal. You'd be extremely lucky to not have wisdom teeth! When the dentist pulls them out it hurts extremely! My wisdom's are still growing! You should be happy.

I say take joy in it. The only thing I got from my wisdom teeth was the removal of them. You're better off.

how old are you?that's a question that we have to consider too.Normally,it's between the age of 17-25 yrs that the wisdom teeth appears. If you don't have them at all(not even in the panoramic xray),then could be evolutionary,Theory of Atavism--in early times(very early-way back to the cave men),they used to have 4th molars. But because of technology, foods becoming processed and all that, recurrence of teeth becomes less.,so 4th molar becomes non-functional,something like that. Also,a small jaw would mean less room for molars to erupt.

yep it is pretty normal, wisdom teeth are now considered as vestigial organs, they dont even occlude when one chews, and like body hair and nails they will slowly disappear with progressing evloution as humans now feed on soft processed foods and dont really need them.
