my partner has a wart on his thumb has been there ages. tried all the creams and home freezing things - no difference. went to GP they dont offer freezing treatment on nhs anymore -surprise surprise. he suggested going privately but also suggested duct tape!! has anyone ever heard of using this for warts, i think he meant to just leave the tape on not rip the wart off. or any other cheap cures to get rid of it??

I was listening to my 4 year old daughters heart beat through my stethoscope while she was sleeping this morning and noticed that it will beat strong and rapid and then just pause and then beat slowly for a few beats and start beating faster again then pause back to slow again. I listened to it for a while and the heart beat kept repeating this same cycle. Is this normal?

my grandpa had a clot in his brain two days ago and he fell down and hit his head really bad. they are doing surgery on his brain right now to get the clot out. so does anyone know if he will be ok and how likely the surgery is to let the person stay alive and ok

I am wanting to get on birthcontrol for the first time, i have been just using condoms! I want to but i don't like how is makes people that are on it gain tons of weight, cause i was kind of chunky and i losed the extra pounds! Ok well what is it in birthcontrol that makes a person gain weight and how can you prevent your self from gaining tons of weight from birthcontrol? Can anyone help me. I feel as if I am going mad. I seem to have developed a problem with my nerves. I have terrible shaky hands, a constant ache in my lower neck and I feel like I cant control my head (slight head jerks) when I get into anxious situations. I would like to say this only happens when in stressful situations but its not its every day in every situation and gets worse if I am say going out for dinner with friends (I cant hold a glass to my mouth without shaking) or in a work environment I cant even make a cup of tea for workmates because my hand shakes so bad. Its even causing me problems driving! The only way to get through social situations is if I have a glass of wine before I go out but obviously in all other situations, work etc I cant do this for obvious reasons. I even have a nightmare with Chip and Pin, my fingers shake so I have a chance I might put the wrong pin in. Does anyone have experience of this or am I a freak. Please help.

I have had an eating disorder for nineteen years, but I have had a 30-34 day cycle regularly for some time. My periods are extremely light and generally last a couple days.

Question: I had my period and then started again twelve days later. It generally lasts a coule days as I said. However, I have been spotting for over a week now and I had a heavier flow than usual when I started. Do you think this is due to my ED, or do you think it is something else?

I am in a bit of a relapse right now...

In October I had my gall-bladder removed, it took me about a month and a half before I felt better, Now since last friday I am having a simular deep burning pain on my right side, right under my ribs, right next to my stomach, I have had problems with ulcers in the past, but this seems different. It does seem to feel better after taking Zantac, or lying on my belly. Any ideas as to what this could be , would be helpful, as I dont want to go to the clinic unless I have to, Im already paying a huge med bill from my gall bladder deal.
