They are cephalexin. It is just from a different manufactuer. Keflex is my antibiotic of choice. I have had the red which I prefer and I have had those green & white ones. I, too, was concerned and called the pharmacy to double check. I am currently taking the green ones myself. I know they are cephalexin.

Do not call a pharmacy. It's illegal for us to play Name That Pill over the phone or in person.

Keep medication in the bottle it came in and you won't have to do this, you know. Had you taken your antibiotics as prescribed there would not be any "leftovers" anyway. If you do find out what it is, how are you going to know if it has already expired or not?

Flush it down the toilet.

I'm a nurse and it could be the generic type (not sure but don't take them go back to the pharmacist). These pills are gray and orange for the 250 mg and the 500 mg are orange. Take care.

it could be cephalexin capsules because cephalexin capsules come in different colors and also it could be amoxycillin capsules. cephalexin capsules should be dark green in color and each capsule should contain excipients q.s. , equivalent to cephalexin (anhydrous)500 mg, cephalexin B.P, if its amoxycillin capsules it should be yellow and red in color, and each capsule should contain amoxycillin trihydrate B.P., equivalent to amoxycillin 500 mg, excipients q.s., also cephalexin capsules come in a blood red color, also cephalexin antibiotic comes in a pink and black color, it also comes in a light green and white color. but if you are still confused here is a website to help you it breaks everything down. hope it helps.

They're red, and depending on dose, can be large capsules.
