It always points up when the time is right, right?
It doesn't matter if u hang or point it up.
Boxers are better coz more ventilation, cools ur balls for optimum sperm production. That's why its outside of ur body. So why u wanna act 'smart' by wearing briefs and making it closer to ur body again????
Oh by the way, there is noticeable size difference of the you-know-what after a few weeks of throwing out the briefs and start of wearing boxers ;)

Well, not wearing boxers will cause no support allowing the penis to hang. If you want support then you should wear briefs or a jock strap, then determined what's comfortable for you because sitting on a downward penis can be uncomfortable. The penis tends to hang more to one side depending on which hand a person uses to masturbate; left-handed usually has a right side hang and vice-versa. The upward or downward depends on if you're erect or not.

Just let it hang freely, usually it will hang to the side. Which side depends on whether you're left handed or right handed.
Most penises will hang to the left. The tailors who make made to measure suits, will ask where the penis hangs and make that side of the leg a bit bigger so as not to show it through.

Whatever is comfortable for you. It just depends on how big your penis is when it's erect and what direction it goes. There isn't any right or wrong way.

i pull mine to the side,over my belt and keep the end in my pocket...it feels safe that way
