My mum had her eyes lasered at the end of October (4 1/2 months ago). Still cannot see clearly. She didn't go cheap, she spent £2450 and went with Optical Express.
Has eye laser treatment worked for you?
Regardless of the answer, say who, and how much you paid, etc.

I ended a physical and psychological abusive relationship in Aug 05 after 4 years. He persued me for 6 months after and ended throwing me down the stairs. The wounds have healed but I'm left with the negative thoughts and lack of control over my emotions in my new relationship, we got engaged not long ago and I'm so happy to have a loving man. I have come a long way as a person but find it hard to control my anger and constant thoughts - I am not good enough him, he will leave, I dont deserve a good man. Why does he put up with me? Why is he so patient? Why does he put up with my shouting? I m scared his patience wont last much longer. I have had cheekbone swelling on only one side for about a few weeks. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning it puffs from under the eye starting at the nose and extends across the cheekbone. The under eye puffiness subsides, but the cheekbone puffiness stays. This was a sudden onset. The day before I remember rubbing my cheekbone softly and I felt some slight discomfort, but it was noticable. The next morning I had the puffiness. Sometimes in the morning the under eye is puffy and sometimes it's not, but the cheek bone puffiness is always there.

Have no idea if this is just me, but when I am on my period, not only am I bloated and quite painful, but I get extremely lazy. Are there any exercises that I can do when I feel like this....just to keep me in shape for the 5 or so days???

One day I noticed a gray/black skinny ring outlining my cuticle (the little white part on the bottom of my nail). About a month later it filled in and turned my cuticle black and gray. Now there is a white mark growing on top of the black and gray. It doesn't hurt at all. It has been here for about 2 months altogether. Does anybody know what it is???

So I woke up this morning, watched a little tv and went to get ready. I brushed my teeth, got dressed, put on some makeup, etc. Then I washed my hands for a while, took out my contacts, cleaned them with the lens solution, and put them in my eye. My started turning really red and it HURT! I couldn't open them. I had to hold my eyelid open with my hand and take the contacts out with my other hand. Did I do anything wrong? If I didn't specify, what might I be doing wrong? I really don't want to wear my glasses today...

I have 3 dogs and all of them are house trained but the little one I've seen her get excited and pee, she's strange. LOL

For the past couple weeks I've smelt this horrible urine smell and I have shampooed the carpet febreezed it everything I can think of that I can afford! Everytime I ask someone if they can smell it they say they can't...

I've also had to pee alot lately, like sometimes I can barely hold it for 2 seconds without it starting to irritate me... and sometimes it feels funny and I'm also starting to develop a horrible cold and its 80 degress outside!!! (I like in Georgia)

I've also tried to air out the house by opening windows and what not and it hasn't helped.. my back has been hurting and I puked a few mornings ago... this all started happening after my last period ended.

Either my dogs are secretlly leaving a pee smell only I can smell or something else is going on... any suggestions?

After being reffered by your regular General Doctor to go talk to somebody at a Metal Health Clinic, if they prescribe medication for you ... do you continue with you regular doctor to get prescribtions refilled etc??? or do you with the person at the Clinic??

My 32 year old sister was diagnosed with this a few months back. She had passed out and was taken to the hospital, they originally kept scanning her brain because she has epilepsy which hasn't affected her in a few years. Well then her body stiffened up and she wasn't able to really even get out of bed for a few weeks, her joints were all swallon and they were not able to give her an accurate diagnosis because they have to do that while the joints are flared up. Anyway, I know of some web sites and stuff to look up, but what I am wondering is if anyone personally is/was this young when diagnosed and how bad did it get. They say that since they caught when she was young that her joints may not get deformed like an elderly persons would.

Lately [for the past week or so] my left foot has been hurting to walk or put pressure on, and is quite painful especially after high intensity swimming. I've done some research and the symptoms match up directly with mine. My 2nd, 3rd, and 4th metatarsals are the most painful, and I'm leaving for Washington D.C. in 2 days. I haven't been to the doctor but I'd like to know whats going on before I have to do a lot of walking. Real medical advice appreciated.

My GI doctor said I might have an inflammed esphogus. I cannot eat solid foods; I can only eat pureed foods. I'm taking Motrin right now to reduce the inflamation. Any other methods or medicines that you can recommend me?? I REALLLYYY NEED SOME ANSWERS!!

so i have been using SARIDON tablets since 1 year or more.......... i started taking them everyday since around 8 months & i think more than one tablet a day since 6 months which has reached to 4-5 per day now............. previously i didn't had any health problem but now i do face some problem in breathing (when i climb the steps or even when i don't take tablet when iam in pain & sometimes even if i laugh)
besides that iam undergoing some pain in my back, not exactly back but somewhat below...........
are these the results of my usage of tablets?
exactly what will hapen to me ?

i even has donated blood recently, will my tablets affect my blood?
