I didn't mean being a housewife isn't good, I love actually raising my own children as opposed to dumping them off with strangers while go make $$.
But fortunatly my hubby makes this lifestyle possible!

I've not showered in weeks. I'm hungry and I can't reach any of the chips with my feet that are scattered across the floor. The dog finally stopped barking after a few days. My wife left weeks ago. Through the pile of scratched open boxes of rice and cereal, my kids are tiptoeing through feces to fend for themsleves, and if a case worker gets here I am going to take a cyanide pill and hopefully they will think I was dead for a few days.

There's nothing wrong being a house wife/stay at home mom.In fact I think it's great that you can stay home to watch what your children are learning and be there for them when they're feeling under the weather.
I know it's hard to stimulate anything when your at home with a toddler.Although I love staying home with my little girl I desperately need to get some type of adult time in.Even if it means hanging out on a website asking and answering other people's questions.I think I just might spend just about the same amount of time on here as you.Don't worry your a normal stay at home mom!!
P.S. Remember to count to 5...5...5 when you think your about to loose it!!!

Maybe, I think all things can be addictive in some manner. I spend a lot of time on here when I'm at work. I think you probably just need to balance your real life with this and I agree, the brain stimulation is great!

I was that way when I first started Answers, couldnt get enough and nothing was getting accomplished around my house. But I finally got bored with it and found there are better things to do than sit at my computer for HOURS on end. I think you need to set some goals, maybe get all the housework done BEFORE you turn your computer on or just limit you time to NO more than an hour a day on the computer. Believe me people were just fine before the internet and Answers...good luck

Well if your house is a mess and you really need a shower, than yes, I would say you are over doing it a bit.But I could think of alot of other bad things you could be doing way to much of.I spend more than two hrs. a day here., So I got you beat, but i dont think I am addicted. So go ahead, indulge. Have fun.

Yes, answers is addictive. I don't think you're over doing it. Many people (including me) spend far more time on here. There's about a million other things around here that need to be done (laundry, dishes, etc.) but are they getting done? Nope!

yes, it can be a subcategory of intenet addiction. The question to ask would be are you getting a rush from answering questions and posting? would you freak out if you do not have access to the the site?
If the answers are yes, then yo are problably addicted to yahoo answers.
