Does anyone know? Any herbs or supplements that can help? Can probiotics (acidophilus etc) help prevent a stomach virus?

lumpectomy? I was given this choice due to my BC being early stage 1. He is one of the top oncologists in the city but I wonder if he was faced with losing a non-life sustaining part of his anatomy if he would have the same opinion?

I have ocd and my boyfriend is having his brother and his brother's wife spending the night at our apartment. That means I have to hide my condition and pretend like nothing is wrong. Its so hard to do that in my own apartment! I cant lock myself away in the bedroom because that would be rude but then they will see me going to the bathroom every two seconds to check on my face, and they will see me wake up at three in the morning and hear me fixing my hair or washing my face to get the make up right so I can go back to sleep and I cant cry cuz they will hear me crying and think Im weird. God I hate this I just want to see my doctor right now, Im going to burst into tears any second now. I dunno what to do. What if they think Im crazy and tell him not to be with me? What if they see me when I first wake up sweating and shaking trying to get the make up on and everyone will be waiting on me to hurry and get ready so we can leave. please help me

I was recently diagnosed with an ulcer and have been banned from caffiene for a while. I am getting headaches on a daily basis, probably from caffiene withdrawals. I have to stay away from Advil and Ibprofuen as they can irritate stomach lining. I can take Tylenol but it doesn't seem to work anymore, like I have become immune to it. I would like to avoid popping pills day after day and find a natural way to ease the pain. Any ideas? If not, any kind of medicine that avoids using "nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)" as to not irritate the ulcer? Please help!

I feel really tired all the time,I can't concentrate in school,I get really bad headaches,I get mad easily,and start crying for no reason,and I feel like my mind is totally out of it.My parents keep saying oh we had all these tests done,there's nothing wrong with you!But I know there is!I can't even get up in the morning to go to school,and I'm not the type of person to not go to school,even though I don't like it.They keep saying if I keep "acting up" I am going to have to see my counselor at school! I don't need to freakin see a counselor! They don't even try to help me! I don't know what to do if I do have it,because they don't do anything!Please help me!I hate feeling like this!

i'm puting some acne meds: like cleanser, astringer and some cremes. now i developped an allergic reaction only in my chin. now i've called the doc but his office is closed...question since it's only my chin, should i not put it there and continue using in the rest of my face or stop all together [until i can find the the doctor]? it only itches but i feel a bump on both sides. will it spread? if so, how i can i stop it from spreading? thank u.

I have this constant feeling of wanting to yawn but not being able to get the yawn out. Just when i'm about to yawn it just won't come out - it's really uncomfortable. Also I feel like my ears are all blocked up even though i've been to the doctor and she's checked them and says they're not blocked or anything? Is it a sinus problem or what? It's driving me mad!

Ive been on her before but im 13 years old and i have been suffering from anxiety and depression for about 3 years now and just today i had a pressure around my head for like 4 seconds i honestly thought i was going to die !! my head felt like it was buzzing sorta are it got shocked i know thats an anxiety symptom but my friend who has anxiety said she has the same thing now my head is all tight because i went into panick.?? I went to the doctors yesterday and she checked everything but she said i have allergies and i have the pose nasal drip and red throat black circles etc... is this allergies/anxiety i dont need to go see a doctor cause this isnt the first time it happened??

I am reading a book called "You on a Diet". I just read that if your deodorent has aluminum in it, it can slow your metabolism. I just checked my label and mine does have aluminum. Of coarse I would not even consider giving up deodorent, but I am wondering if they make dedorent without aluminum in it. I never heard anything like this before. I am trying to lose my last 20 pounds of baby weight and the scale is not budging even though I exercise and follow a strict diet. Did anyone ever hear of this???

I'm 16 and I was checked for the thyroid count or whatever a couple months ago and it was fine so why is it that I am SO cold all of the time? I am always freezing cold but once every so often I'll get this hot flash type thing. Ha, I know it sounds weird but I just get this sudden burning hot feeling and I'll have to lie down with an ice pack to cool down. I'm currently not on any medication and since I had my thyriod stuff checked a few months ago, I have NO idea what is going on. Got any ideas that I could check into?

I have a partial asthma disease thing, and my parents won't let me play hockey. I mean, I don't have asthma, but I rarely have wheezing or shortness of breath and my parents think that it is from the cold air while playing hockey. As you all know, hockey is the best sport in the world and I really want to play it. How can I lose this "disease" and play hockey. You CAN lose this "disease" and please no "I don't know" answers.
