I need someone to help me make my workouts more effective. I am a martial artist with blackbelts in two different forms, play rugby, I am very in shape, and I work out every day (sometimes I take one day a week off if I feel that I need to.). I also do 20 minutes of cardio daily. And to specify, I do heavy lifting with freeweights and machines.
Right now my schedule is a 4 day schedule, and I workout my abs every day because they can be exercised daily. Day 1 I do my biceps and back. Day 2 I work my triceps, shoulders, and chest. Day 3 I work my legs and my core (squats). And day 4 I do intense cardio.
Is this workout a good one? What would really help me is if someone could layout a good daily workout schedule that they do themselves or know works. And I don't want people telling me not to workout every day, because that is what I do. I just want to sharpen my schedule to make my workouts more effective. Thank you for any help!
