The adverse skin reaction you are having will eventually subside. Apply an ice pack to the affected area and keep it clean and dry.

If this is the first time you have had a PPD (TB skin test), then DO NOT take one again!! Let the provider know that you have had a positive test. This means you have been exposed to the tuberculosis germ. The doctor will need to take an x-ray of your chest (usually just one quick film) to make sure there is no active TB infection. A positive test does not mean you have TB but do not take the chance by not having an x-ray.

Once you have a positive skin test, you will always have a positive skin test, so you are subjecting yourself to meaningless pain and inflammation.

Good luck.

You're probably over-thinking it. You're worried about it, so every little bump looks magnified and weird. Check your other arm - I bet you'll find the same bumps over there. If not, well, maybe your test was positive. But I wouldn't worry about it, and I would ignore it until it's time for the test to be read.

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/WirlF
