Health - 3 January 2007

It was a pack of Marlboro Reds...they were rough with a weird taste. The whole pack was like that and I just bought them yesterday. Could it be bad tobacco and do you think it would be harmful to continue smoking that pack? Do you think the store would take them back with 9 gone?

Spare me the lecture about smoking please. I don't care.

I am thinking of starting the Atkins diet plan, and thought of this question: You know those mix-in fiber formulas, like Fibersure? I was thinking, if you add it to food, like soup or a drink or whatever, does it lower your net carbs for that food you mixed it into, or does it count as its own food?

I do this for about 2-3 days afterwards. I don't cramp like a period or anything, just have very dark clots and then it stops. My period is a bit messed up, serious cramps, very bad headaches, etc. My sex drive is very low also..... is all this connected? I wonder if I am in the early stage of menapouse.

My niece was diagnosed as ADHD as a child. Now she has a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. Does one disease progress into another? Or is it a case of misdiagnosis? Is it hereditary? She has 2 children who act just like she did as a child.

Ok
So I don't drink...I've never been the type to party hard or anything so sometimes I'm kinda naive about these things. This guy I met told me he has about 5 drinks every weekend (I think at least 2 must be beer). During new year's eve he had 15 drinks!! including 5 beers, 3 shots, and the other stuff was some kind of vodka I think.
Is this normal? even if it's once a year, isn't 15 drinks too much??

I've been using prescription drugs (not prescribed to me) for the past 3 months. Mostly pain killers. I'm not taking more than 5 a day. I use it to stay mellow. I have found that it works to calm my add better than my ridilin does.... But does my behavior and growing numbers of pills I take a day make me an adict?

I know when I was little I had a cat that would go in heat every few months and crawled around the floor with her butt in the air desperate for action.

I wonder if human female goes into to heat because I've noticed that I always get extra horny 2-3 days before my period. Is this psychological, just something I do because my body subconsciously knows I won't be able get any for 5 days or is there some hormonal biological drive behind it?

I am having a really hard time remembering simple things like my atm number. In the middle of a sentence I can't think of the right word, for example I'll call my keys the remote. It is very fruterating because I'm a nursing student and my schoolwork is getting more and more difficult. I don't want to go to the doctor because I don't want to hear anything scary. this is my first month on birth control (ortho tri-cyclen) and i'm currently on the placebo pills. i'm bleeding like crazy! it's very heavy and i'm going through pads like a mad women. ever since i took placebo pill number 3 it's been bad. am i suppose to bleed this badly every month while on the placebo pills?!?!? is this normal? or is it just my bodys reaction to the pill? or...is there another reason?
