Hi there,
I'm asking this for my wife, The missus use to be really prone to cold sores, pretty much one every couple of weeks, this was reduced to once in a blue moon, she took L-Lysine and saint johns wart, which worked wonders, however she has had to come off the saint johns wart because it is interfering with the pill, with this the cold sores are starting to return more often and its getting her down, anyone know of any other alternative to the saint johns wart, i'm looking for something that will keep the cold sore at bay and not an after treatment.

its been two months of me joining the gym. i wear a supporter, but while doing certain excercises (there is one for the arms in which you have to pull down weights) i feel slight pain near my lower stomach.
could this be hernia. how much time does it take for one to get hernia. is surgery the only cure. what all precautions should i take.
would stopping the excercises help?

Help!! My girlfriend has missed her period now by 4 days now could this mean that she is pregnant? Is there any way to stop her pregnancy? We had unprotected sex but no sperm was ejaculated into her, however my penis was little wet and it was her first time? Yesterday she was feeling lot of pain when trying to pee but today she is fine? I used to weigh 135 and was in good shape... But then I lost wieght. I weigh 115 now and I want to gain my weight back. I've been trying to eat a lot and I drink protien shakes to try to gain weight, and I am gaining it back, but in my stomach area. How do I gain weight and lose it in my stimach area? About a week ago, I felt a small ache on my left side of my chest, down near the bottom of my ribcage. I had been coughing a lot from a cold the previous week, and now that ache has blown up into a pretty painful area. I am not having any trouble breathing, I can take a deep breath, it just makes that area hurt when I do. However, when I bend over or double over, I can cough or take a deep breath with a LOT less discomfort, or if I pull the skin away from my ribcage. I am able to sleep normally, and when I wake up, it feels a lot stiffer on that left side, and it hurts when I attempt to lift myself up, then when I am up it feels better.

The reason I ask here is because for one, I have no health insurance and would like to avoid a trip to the emergency room if at all possible, if I have to go in, I will of course, screw the money. Also, about 20 years ago my father had an attack of Pleurisy, and I want to make sure it's not a lung issue. Thanks!
