To put on weight you have to eat alot of protien and carbs..lift weights heavy weight and alot of more reps and sets..the the more you can do power sets..like go from arm curls straight to triceps.. you have to stretch too..rest in between days your body needs to let your muscles grow..hydrate your muscles with a powdered drink ie..liquid carb..but no steroids! those will kill you and shut down your liver! you can do it on your own...

Hmm. You're trying to get bigger and I'm trying to get smaller.
However, I read about everything lol.
Uhm....I've read that if your trying to build muscle, you should eat high protein/high carb meals about a half hour before working out. Maybe try some protein shakes or something.
Uhm.... And I guess the only other thing that I can suggest is workout. Join a gym, or check out a local school/community center weight room (sometimes cheeper). Many gyms offer free training advice.
I'll try to pop back up here with the web sight where I read about the eating protein.... I cant seem to find it right now (thought it was in my favorites)...

The single biggest key is very intense and heavy leg lifting. But unless you are already in good shape you must concentrate on doing a lot of volume, lots and lots of reps, first. But as you keep getting stronger you can't just increase the number of reps you do. You must include "heavy days" in your program and go for your one rep max. Lift with an attitude, like you mean it. Don't be afraid to yell and grunt. Stay focused on legs, that will trigger muscle growth throughout your entire body.

Weight train, and adjust your workouts for mass gain (vs overall vs endurance). Shoot for 6-8 reps in your sets. Incorporate power moves (deadlift, squats, etc).
And of course EAT! You need calories for muscle building. You probably want to take in at least around 500 calories above your daily maintainance level (the calorie intake you have to get to maintain your weight (no loss or gain) at your current activity level). Choose good healthy calorie sources for your food, and you'll gain good lean muscle.
