I used to weigh 135 and was in good shape... But then I lost wieght. I weigh 115 now and I want to gain my weight back. I've been trying to eat a lot and I drink protien shakes to try to gain weight, and I am gaining it back, but in my stomach area. How do I gain weight and lose it in my stimach area? I heard that if I eat alot and wrap a plastic bag around my stomach area while I work out, that should work... But I'm not sure.

Its real hard to do both at the same time. Is the priority losing the stomach? Plastic bag wont work. Youll just lose water weight that will be put back on immediately when you drink water to rehydrate. You cannot isolate fat loss. Which means when you do crunches you will burn calories and lose fat over your whole body at about the same speed as if you were doing curls. Your best bet is to keep lifting, but cut out the protein and excess food. Add cardio to lose the gut first, then concentrate on weight gain. Heavy weight, low reps with the weighlifting will speed the weight gain. As far as appearance goes, thin with less muscle is better than fat with alot of muscle. In my opinion.

Eating to gain weight is good,but balanced meals.But while your eating to gain weight you also need to execise ,in the crunches and set ups to get rid of the belly bulge and mantain it.I havew the same problem and it's hard to keep it down unless you work at it.Good luck.

I'd say that theres really no way that your going to gain weight but not in your stomach.

Try joining a gym. ..... You could work your abdominal muscles --and many gyms offer free training advice.
