Vitamin E 400 IU 1-2x daily
Fish Oil capsules 2-3 caps 2-3x daily on bad days
1-2 calcium-magnesium-zinc pills 3x daily (take 2 on bad days or when PMS is a problem).
Midol is a good analgesic for this problem.

I'm on birth control for that very reason. My cramps were TERRIBLE. I would miss school at least once a month because of them. Plus- they were super heavy and a pain in the neck. I've been on BC for over 2 years and its amazing how big of a difference it makes. My periods are sooo light, and only last for 3 days tops. I never get cramps- but i do still have PMS pretty bad.
If BC isn't an option, then i say extra-strength midol. Thats what did it for me- at least for the cramps.
Hope this helps!
