I don't know if my rib is cracked, broken or bruised. I took a tumble about ten days ago snowboarding, I remember hearing a pop or two.
The affected rib sticks out a little further than the others and is very sensitive to any pressure, I dont have much trouble breathing but coughing or sneezing is pure agony.
I have heard that there isnt much that can be done with injured ribs, if this is the case I dont see the point of wasting four to five hours in a hospital unless my rib had to be put back into place or something.

I heard that Milk Thistle is good for purifying the liver. What are other good remedies (herbal supplements/pills/drinks etc..) for purifying the body from alcohol abuse quickly?

I am a 20 year old girl and I am 154cms tall. About to have a baby, but according to my midwife, my BMI was 33 at the beginning of my pregnancy. Is that high? I know I am a bit overweight, but what is the ideal BMI, as I am starting my own weight loss programme after the baby is born, and would like to know just how much I need to lose to be the average weight for my age.

I was horrified to see so many suggestions of storing contact lenses in water when someone asked what to do with them when they had forgotten their case. This leads to a higher risk of contacting acanthamoeba keratitis, which is incredibily painful and can lead to blindness.

I have a suspicion that using enbrel brought my fibromyalgia on. I also know of some friends who got fibromyalgia after using enbrel. I was wondering if anyone else was diagnosed with fibromyalgia after or during their use of enbrel.

And if so, how did you get them?
I'll start...
I've got a sovereign scar right cheek, teethmarks in my nose, and a screwdriver hole half inch from my left eye. (lucky not to be wearing a patch right now!) The things us boys get up to eh?
What permanent marks have you got that remind you of your life so far everytime you look in the mirror?
