What's a master cleanse? What does the treatment involove? Usually I notice every gym or spa or specialist insist that the person be 18 or above. A few places lower the limit to age 16 or above so I'm guessing this might apply.

I would not allow my child to do Master Cleanse for two reasons. One: after you have fast for two or more days your stomach is completely empty, which can cause constipation. After you eat it normally takes your body 12-24 hrs. for food to digest. After fasting it may take 2-3 days before her first bowl movement. Two:Children from the day of birth til' at least the age of sixteen need the right foods in their body so that they can keep the energy they need. They need the vitamins that 80% of what we eat give us. It is you and your childs decision on what you should do, but I would not want or allow my child to do this!!!

No. 10 days without protein or calcium is not a good idea for a teen.

Read the label. It will probably tell you more than we can. If you're still in doubt, consult a doctor.
