My daughter is 17, almost 18 years old and has not started having her period yet. An ultrasound showed that all the reproductive organs are there where they should be. The doctor wants to do a blood test to check the hormone levels, but my daughter refuses that idea. What could be causing the delay, and what should we do about the refusal to have a blood test? My daughter got a mild sedative on the day she was supposed to have blood taken , but that didn't help at all.

I have a calcium deficiency, have no teeth at the back of my mouth, top and bottom, my dentist made me false teeth which i really tried to get used to, the bottom ones fall out if i bend down, and the top ones i cant talk with them in, But most importantly i cant eat with them, everything gets stuck underneath them. I went back and explained all this he told me just to put them in when getting my photo taken. IT IS NOT ABOUT VANITY. i need them to eat as at the moment i have to eat like a rabbit and chew everything at the front of my mouth , as thats where my only teeth are. I am a carer to my son as he is disabled so i am on benifits i dont exspect gold plated, but just ones that work. My own teeth are getting so worn down, its depressing, dont know what my rights are MONEY TALKS EH|!!!!!!

I have 6 yrs. old son who is suffering from Homocystinuria, HCU. he is taking Treatment under Dr. Anil Jalan, Mumbai. This disease is very rare and treatment is life long. Due to this Genetic Disorder he has dislocation of lens and we have to remove his natural lens by surgery. Is there any patient related to this disease? My son's HCU level is not so high due to that He is depend on B6 and B12 Vitamin tablets. Otherwise this treatment is also include Low protien Diet and Homonex-II powder which available only in U.S. The treatment is very costly. I want to speread the information on this diseases as well as want to know if any patient is in Mumbai. I woke up this morning to see that I look ROUGH.. just really unhappy.
I have taken care to go for something to pamper myself each week to keep going - manicure, facials, etc. However, my skin is grey, am bloated from weight gain from comfort eating, even my hair has been dropping more than usual. Any suggestions as to what to do so I can feel better and look toward a new year?

My son is now 3.5 yrs old and still isn't fully potty trained. He goes #1 in the potty like a big boy, but when it comes to #2, he simply refuses and would rather do it in his pants. Even when I catch him in time, I put him on the potty and tell him to go #2 there, he will sit for up to an hour, refusing to do his business there.
Why is it that some children rather poo in their pants?
I don't see why that would be satisfying.

PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER UNTIL GIVING A WHILE TO COME UP WITH A HELPFUL ANSWER. The snow has been falling to the point where plows, if doing their jobs, throw the snow over drives and sidewalks as do the sidewalk snow blowers on public, private, and government properties. There is no way for wheelchairs, crippled, nor elderly to be able to have access to clear paths to get around on. We know that the plows must do their job. Can you come up with ideas on what these individuals do to get the assistance of others to keep walks and drives clear so we are able to get to the stores and go for walks?
