My husband had brain cancer and had radiation treatment with the hope that it could prolong his life, however he knew from the onset that his cancer was inoperable, he finished his treatment but unfortunately passed away 2 weeks later, PLEASE bear in mind that was 8 years ago and things has progressed since then
and everyone is different, I wish your uncle all the best, whatever treatment he can afford DO take it up, Where's there's life there's hope, and always think positive.

Check out Dr Mike Murray's How to Prevent and Treat Cancer with Natural Medicine; and Patrick Quillen's Beating Cancer With Nutrition. Both books are full of expert advice and info on dealing with side effects of chemo and radiation, and other aspects of cancer therapy. Good luck and God bless.

if he is retired military, his tricare ins thru the military will pay for all the treatment and meds.if not, then depending on his age, if he is on medicade it should pay the cost. medicade will also pay the cost of home health care for him when and if the time comes for that.they can do the radiation daily without admitting him to the hosp eliminating the hospitalization expenses.on oct 2nd of this year dad found out he had lung cancer. a week later he found out that it was also in his throat and brain. after a couple of weeks in radiation , he was admitted to hosp for light stroke in right leg, and stayed there for 13 days. when he was done with radiation, hospice came in. dad lived 9 days after he came home and died on thanksgiving day of this year. his medicare paid for the hospice, but since he wasnt on medicade, he couldnt get the home health care, which is what i do.the kemo and radiation doesnt get rid of the cancer cells. they try to shrink the cancer cells with these options so the patient will be in less pain . if you want to talk more email me sultrybitchnc@yahoo.com.
also after dad died we found out that his cancer was military related as he spent 2 tours over in vietnam where they sprayed the agent orange and determined thats how he got it, all he qualified for 100 percent disability because of it.

I won't contact you on-line: If he's getting treatments or has been in a hospital, I'm sure they've told him about the availabilities of certain programs. IE: Is he a "vet" retired on Social Security, on Medicaid, absolutely homeless and no one, no work insurance programs, nothing, there's still help available in all areas, you have to get out there and look. I hope your not just hoping, we're your only hope.

Try to find a cancer program in the area where your uncle lives that helps people in his position.
