I've started doing them this week, but don't want to keep on doing them if they arent that big of a deal. Im doing 4 sets of 10-15 reps btw. and no, before any says so, Im not just working out one type of muscle Im just asking about how effective this exrcise is.

This morning I slipped on the road on some ice and landed really hard on my knee. I almost passed out from the pain but I was able to get up and go to school (barely). i took some bayer for the pain, but now the knee is like a prune..huge and purple and it hurts! what should I do? I dont think anything is broken cause then I wouldnt be able to walk...so im not going to the doctors.

Why do paper cuts hurt so much.

I mean, compared to a deeper, wider, bloodier cut, it seems that a paper cut hurts more, and takes longer to heal.

Why's that?

2 weeks ago I had 2 teeth out 1 was particularly (sp) difficult to remove and the dentist had to give me an injection 4 times because I could feel what she was doing. Because I get anxiety attacks I took half a Lorazepam about an hour before I went. I had been home for about an hour or so when all of a sudden I felt very shivery and I looked very pale so I decided I'd go to bed to see if I felt better, I didn't and ended up taking 2 Ibruprofen and those just made me feel hot, not sweating, just very hot. So could it have been a reaction to the injections or maybe even a reaction between the Lorazepam and injections? Or just 1 of those things?I have to go back for more treatment and I'm a bit concerned about it all really. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi, I was recently told that taking melatonin or valerien root will help me fall asleep better, but will it help me to wake up easier as well?

Where do I get melatonin & Valerian root? Are they pills?
(I don't sleep normal hours, 3am-3pm and I get 12 hours a day on the average.)

I'm 63 and 10 months ago, because I had to have surgery, found out by a EKG that I have PVC's. Went to cardio doc, and wore a monitor, she said I had over 21,000 in a 24 hour period. Normal is about 300. She put me on Coreg to start with 4.5 mg, then will up it slowly. I do a Nuclear tomorrow. Had an echo and the heart is normal and strong. Just the lower left Ventircle is very slightly enlarged but hardly noticable. The doc said it is the electrical system in the heart that is "misfiring" come again???
She may send me to a specialist that does the electrical part.
I've had these so long, I never gave them any thought. I go to the gym and work out 3 tiimes a week, and have lots of energy and no pain. I don't want to take this Coreg because it is supposed to make you tired and fat. I'd rather have a bad heart, then be tired and fat.
That is so depressing to me. Can you live a life with these PVC without medicine? My mom and both her parents had congestive heart disease

Every body says that cotton breaths easier. but would not a blend soak up moister better.

I ask, this because, I know that when I go snow skiing, polyester, wool, and fleece work better for the cold and to soak up moister.

I am a male/25/6'0"/150 lbs. I have been trying to gain weight for 1.5 years by drinking 2 protein shakes a day and lifting weights 2-3 times a week. I eat normally, yet I can't gain any weight. Can anyone help with some advise.

I hate my body and I don't think my clothing choices make things much better. I am kind of muscular and kind of chubby in my stomach and a little in my thighs and arms. I'm 5' 3" and 127ish? pounds. I have pretty medium sized boobs but I have NO CURVES. Most girls bodies are like the one on the left and I'm like the one on the right:
