I have struggled for many years with the same problem, finding the right medication? I suffer from anxiety and manic depression.
Sometimes it becomes so bad, I have a hard time getting out of bed. Its affecting everything my school work, social life, and family. I don't even go out anymore and have a hard time making new friends but an easy time loosing the friends I have had for years. I've considered going to see a therapist but im not sure if that will go over so well. Does anyone have any suggestions on medication?

I've heard before that you should always sleep on your back, no matter what. I've also heard that this is a very poor idea, because it's not good for the back, and that you should sleep on your right side (sleeping on the left can damage the heart). And I've heard that sleeping on one's stomach is the worst thing a person can do. Can someone please clear this up- which position should a person sleep in to insure optimum health and well-being? And does anyone have any thoughts on pillows (is it better to sleep with or without one)?

Thanks!

I know a few people that have never or rarely had professional oral care and they're teeth look "perfect". One or two cavities, straight teeth, never a major problem with their teeth.
And then there are people like me who have suffered w/dental problems despite seeing a dentist on a regular basis.
Is it soley based on one's diet? Or do genes play a role too?

I am going to get a jump start on curtailing my smoking....
I usually smoke 5 cigars a day.
From now on I will only smoke when I wake up in the morning, on the drive to work, at lunch, on the drive home from work and only one in the evening.
Wish me luck in reducing my smoking habit. I will need it! Do you think I can do it?

I've been feeling sad for a while now and although it may not be depression the constant feeling is still there. I told my mother yesterday and she wanted to know if there was anything that we could do to make me feel better. I thought about it but finally said, "No."

I have an appointment with my therapist so maybe we can talk about it then. Is your suggestion that I check in with my primary doctor?

I have experienced pain in my calfs recently after I have been sitting in a chair or driving for 20 or 30 minutes. It is a little difficult to start walking and then in just a matter of 30 or 40 seconds it feels fine again. I have also been having an almost constant nagging in my lower back and someone told me the calf pain was associated with the lower back pain. If someone has any advice or opinions I am most grateful. Thank you in advance.

I met a friend online who had a dental lab and said he could fix my partial (4 front teeth.) which had broken, but he put too much material on it and I couldn't get them in, he took them back to file them down, and then I couldn't get hold of him, when I went there his lab was gone and my teeth too, I don't have the insurance to get new ones, and I'm supposed to be in my son's wedding soon, and no money to get any,
does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm having this weird very thick, very dark, almost brown discharge. it is very goopy and would remind me most of semi-dried-up bleeding. Though it isn't dry, just so mucusy that it seems dry, it doesn't even soak through a pad, or into a tampon. it is impossible to get into my gyn. office...as always. has anyone experienced this? is something wrong?

He used to be the hard core smoker type, and then he quit since I have known him. Every once in a while when he's really stressed out or pissed off or just "feels like it" he'll have a cigarette (his roommates and all their friends also smoke). I am SUPER anti-smoking, and he knows it. Even when he doesn't tell me, I can smell it on him when he's been smoking and I call him on it. Doesn't smoking just one or two cigarettes just make him want to smoke that much more? Should I even bother talking to him about it since he already knows it's disappointing me? Advice, please.
