I am going to get a jump start on curtailing my smoking....
I usually smoke 5 cigars a day.
From now on I will only smoke when I wake up in the morning, on the drive to work, at lunch, on the drive home from work and only one in the evening.
Wish me luck in reducing my smoking habit. I will need it! Do you think I can do it?

U usually smoke 5 a day but your going to reduce it to 5 a day? How will that help. That isnt a change. Why not smoke half at a time and try aiming for 4 a day and each week knock off half or a whole smoke. Chew on a pencil or straw when you have cravings. Hold a Q-TIP between your fingers if you have that urge to hold one. Do what it takes. You will feel better in the long run. Good luck.

This is so easy....do you want to quit in 3 easy lessons.

1. Go to the nearest hospital and bring 1 flower to each person in the cancer ward, and you must walk through the ward and give them out yourself.....each person gets a flower from you...who has lung cancer, or mouth cancer.

2. Decide: Do you want to be a patient or a visitor.

3. If you can't decide, easy...just eat the cigar...yes eat the whole thing and if you still feel good about yourself.....then use your method...and see if you become a patient faster!

NO ~ smoking reduces your LIFE!!! There are many days when one might not FEEL as hungry as others {the practicality of the word "appetite"} but, such a condition can be caused by countless factors. The MAIN issue you should be, currently, facing is WHY do you choose {of your own FREE WILL} to WASTE so much money in, sinmply, burning it up into ashes in your very mouth as well as choosing to WASTE your very LIFE??? If you have no true concern for yourself ~ do you not have any loved ones who would love to share the years of the future with YOU by their side??? Please, don't get me wrong ~ I was a smoker, also. In fact, I smoked for over 40 years; and, I did so, extremely, stubbornly, ignorantly and defiantly; but, the most significant descriptive term for it was that I did so, extremely, DANGEROUSLY. I was even performing actual autopsies during one particular time when the publishers of the country were beginning thier "scare campaign" in an attempt to SCARE people into stopping; but, while they were publishing full-page color pictures of the damaged lungs, I was, actually, HOLDING those damaged lungs in my very hands. I would, then, extract small specimens of the tissue in order to send to the hospital lab for further microscopic analysis; and, when I finished withthe autopsy, I would "close" the body and get it ready for the morticians to get and step outside the door of the morgue and LIGHT UP A CIGARETTE!!! So, you see, **I** was just as BLINDED as YOU, currently, are; but, there exists HELP for you IF YOU WANT IT. Simply, get in touch with me through my email and mention this Q&A session in the subject line of your message so that I don't, simply, delete your message ~ being as the address will, obviously, be strange and new to my eyes. Have a wonderful day; and, regardless of what you decide ~ EAT MORE / SMOKE LESS!!!

Try a more daring approach. It sounds to me like you want
to cause yourself as little inconvenience as possible--and it
also sounds to me like you're not really serious about this
to begin with.
Cold Turkey style is a one-in-a-million shot. Try one of the
many Nicotine gums or patches on the market. I smoked
2 packs a day for 4 years (1980-84): the gum worked for
me.

Best of health & luck.
