I'm having this weird very thick, very dark, almost brown discharge. it is very goopy and would remind me most of semi-dried-up bleeding. Though it isn't dry, just so mucusy that it seems dry, it doesn't even soak through a pad, or into a tampon. it is impossible to get into my gyn. office...as always. has anyone experienced this? is something wrong?

It is difficult to diagnose your symptoms without proper testing.
Go see your doc for a check-up.
Stay hydrated, drink lots of water.

I started having the same about 5 years ago. I think it's something we go through as we get older. My doctor hasn't explained it, but doesn't see anything wrong with it either. I have an exam every year, and I'm perfectly healthy.
If you are concerned, make an appointment with your OB/Gyn, but I wouldn't worry overmuch.

You can see your regular doctor to get this checked out. Call your doc and make an appointment and get this checked out. I only use a GYN doc for problems my regular doc doesn't feel qualified to deal with.

This could possibly be a sign of early pregnancy. "Spotting" is very common, and also implantaion sounds similar as well !! If pregnancy is out the question she should definitely consult a doctor , bc it could be a sign of infertility as well ...
