No but I sure wish that was true as I have been hearing impaired since I was a kid.

well, legally no because since you have a hearing aid then you have no longer a disability you see? In some countries it does clasiffy as such. If you're talking about jobs and stuff then it dependes on the boss

You could sign up for SSI. If you need to wear hearing aids, they would send you to the doctor and you might be diagnosed as legally deaf.

Depends on the amount of hearing the aids restore. If you are still hearing impared, then yes.
