ever since i was teen, i've always gotten swollen glands. now in my 20's the gland inside left side of neck keeps getting sore and causing mild headaches. if i press mid way down my neck with 2 fingers i can feel a sore 'spot.' the spot is also sore when i turn my head left or right. my doc keeps giving me meds (like antibiotic), and the pain goes away then comes back months later and repeat.....last time she said it was a gland pressing against my tonsil or something like that.

what is causing this?

how can I get rid of it?

why does the soreness in gland or tonsil go away for a few months then return and repeating?

is the pain from a gland or a tonsil in neck?

I have only been on here for ten minutes this evening and i have already read a few answers to questions about eating disorders which are complete crap.
Can we please be a little more careful how we answer to questions relating to eating problems....they are fatal afterall.

I have already read an answer which has told a young lady that anorexics dont make theirselves sick....yes they do not all of them but yes they do. I should know as i have had the problem for over 12 years.

To anyone who has issue i urge you to get help and not to rely on peoples answers here as we are not experts.

I just wish that everyone could love themselves for who that are.

I have an extremely swollen eyelid only on one eye. It is red and puffy all the way up to my brow and underneath my eye. My eye itself is fine but the lid is so swollen I can barely open my eye. What could this be?? Any dry remedies to use that are not liquid or creams? Any idea if it is virus or allergy related? Any names of possible eye conditons would help that I could diagnose myself with.

6 weeks ago the dentist placed 2 fillings which were still hurting. I saw a different dentist who told me she saw nothing wrong with #7 but that #10 needed to be replaced. I went back to original dentist who placed fillings and she replaced 7 &10. 10 doesnt hurt at all now but 7 is absolutely killing me. It is a front tooth with tooth colored composite. Is this normal? I am taking prescription pills and advil but it still hurts and she just said it might hurt but this is killing me. Is this normal and how long should it hurt for?

There are 28 tablets in a strip, are the tablets all the same or are the last seven placebos?(sugar tablets).

What Im getting at is with the regular pill you only take it for 21 days then a seven day break, whereas with this pill it is continuous.

i have recently been put on 500mg of amoxacilon, for a good amount of time, i know when i stop taking this there is a good chance i can devlop ecoli, i have been on this before and it hasnt happend, but i have never been on for this long, what can i do to prevent myself from developing this? I heard yogurt will help.

The medication I have to have has some side affects. I can deal with hair loss [never had much left anyway] and the usual side effect , weight loss,No, one bonus and I don't get it.
My teeth have become very sensitive since sometimes being sick [I have pills to sort that]. I use pro enamel toothpaste and mouth wash but need something more as teeth feel like they are comming loose [they're not but?].
Has anybody got any ideas even wacky ones I'll try.Please. Other than that I'm fine.
