I have to take a blood test on Friday and I Smoked 3 cigs Sat. Night. Will I fail the test? Thanks!!

I would like to stop smoking cold turkey. Im affraid of going for food while doing this and getting fat. Is their anything I can do or take so I dont go for food as a substitution? And is it safe to stop cold turkey?

i've never had this before and it's only just started last weekend. i took a trip to blackpool and drunk very heaverly, drinking redbull and vodka. i'd also had a big steak wilest out in the day. i've just gave up smoking and have really started eating healthy food. ie (lots of fruit and new types of veg which i've never had before.) i've also been having alot of youget's which are new to me. i don't really have alot of stress in my life and very rarely strain myself. i've also started exersizing, not because i'm over weight but just to become more active and get the blood pumping. i'm 6foot 7inch's and weigh 16 stones. i never get pains in my stomic or bowels be do have alot of gas sometimes. there is one other thing i get when having a movement and that is a sharp pain when starting to pass my stool which is not as bad when i'm in full flow.

sure if it might have been how i was lying on it. the circulation is back yet my left hand feels cold like the circulation is there but not really great. i have had high cholesterol for probably awhile. a year ago my cholesterol was 214. i have to go back and have it checked again. i am 32 years old. every once in awhile i have angina which will last for 5 minutes or so. should i be concerned? could this be a stroke? or early heart disease symptoms?

I've been thinking about a situation that I cannot change and the thoughts are just going round and round my head making me feel sad.

As it's not anything that I can change, or any kind of major problem, how can I stop thinking about it?

It's easy just to say 'stop' but the thoughts just keep popping back.

Any ideas? (Yes, I've tried drinking!)

Hi, I weigh about 130 lbs and I am 5'1. The problem here is I have been working really hard in the gym and doing really crazy fitness classes, and I am feeling like i have lost so much...ppl are telling me I look smaller and look like my body is shrinking, yet i HAVN'T lost a DAMN LB on the scale whats up? My body is getting stronger, my arms are gettin gmore tones, and my legs and thighs are getting toned as well. My stomach looks flatter but why do I weigh the same? Can someone tell me whats up? THANKS is it possible my muscle is replacing my fat thats why I am not loosing weight. Please only serious advice.

chronic everday headache since jan. 2001. headache starts as soon as get up in morning. pain in forehead,cheeks,upper teeth,nose,temples. pregnant in 2004.In 2005 headaces came back, the same as before. NO PAIN AT ALL WHILE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING FOR 1 MONTH.Matter of fact i felt great while pregnant.!! neuorllogist says tension/migraine type. but tried so many type of migraine meds and either didn't work or did but came back next day. tried preventive meds...DON'T WORK. feel constant pressure, but not clogged nose unless lay down. can't breath when lay down. scalp is sore to touch, bending down makes worse as well as cold temperature, and high allitudes.
Heating pad and sleep only thing that takes pain away, besides being pregnant. decongestants work sometimes. (cold/sinus tablets). allegra-d worked for 2 months then stopped. allergic to cat dander, dust, ragweed. and milk.
what can cause sinus type headaches to go away while
pregnant? hormones food allergy?
PLEASE HELP

i lost my mother at 16. i am now 26 and i just lost my father too, both due to illness.they were very young. i did not grow up with my mother so her death did not affect me to much but i was very close with my father and now that they are both gone i am lost, lonley, and hurt. my father got to meet 3 of my 4 children i named my last child after my father. he was in vietnam and he suffered dearly from being in that war but still he was very special to me. i have no other family and i am so very hurt and lonley. any spirit lifting advice or wisdom would be great to hear...

I lived in town all my life and now I Iive outside the city somewhere in the middle of a sugarcane plantation in Central Africa and the rainy season is about to start and I know that any day now I will be surrounded by all kinds of insects and frogs! I'm terrified of them! Some of them are huge and I don't know how they get in the house but they do! Other people just shoo them away but I can't I'm too scared. Please help me! And don't tell me to go for therapy because theres no one I can go to here.

It looks like a hernia but its the size of my fist which is a bit big. I dont realy have pains from it. The doctors say they need to put in a full encircling mesh to repiar it,but then i will not be able to have any more children. I wish to have more children and so am thiking not to take the surgry. I have been told if i have more children with it, it could be dangerous. If its so dangerous why di`nt my midwife,health visitor or GP express any concern about it. So if i had not out of pure curiosity and concern asked my GP about it nothing would have been done about it and i could have gone on and gotten pregnant again, and then what would have happened to me. I despirately need a second opinion and dont know how to go about it. Is it really hernia, if not then what will make a womans abdominal muscles give way and split in the curse of pregnancy. I can do with all the information i can get.

I look terrible when I wake up. even if I've had an early night and no booze, I look really bad. Pale, bags under eyes, red eyes, greasy skin etc. After I've had my shower and put my suit on I look OK, but the first view in the mirror in the morning is a shocker. This is a bit worrying because when I get a girlfriend she will be subjected to this view at some point. Why do I look like this and what can I do? I am male, and 26 years old.

My vet put my dog on another tye of syring U-40 and I went to every pharmacy here in my hometown looking to buy a box they do not carry this type of syringe. SO my question is does any one know where I can go and look on the internet on where I can buy the syringes? I know I can get them from the vet he gave me some. But before he change over I was using the kind where I can go to the pharmacy and buy a box that is what I do and before my dog runs out I go again and buy another box its a lot cheaper like that for me and you get lots of neddles to. But I need to know where I can go and look so I can buy a box of the syringes I need. The vet said I can use the same syringe 10 to 20 times over but I do not like that I use it one time and I throw it away that is why I like to by a box of them. SO please can anyone help me on this. I just do not know where to look so I can buy a box of these syringes that I need. I would be more than thankfull for anyones help.
