As strange as it sounds, everyone has a note that would help to clear their nose if they hum it. I do this when I am stuffy or have a cold or something.

I agree with what everyone else has said about nasal spray, but since you've been like this for a month, and I assume you are still using the nasal spray, you shouldn't be rebounding from Not using it. I suggest you make an appointment with an Ear, Nose, and Throat Dr (otylaryngologist). It sounds like you may have a deviated septum, and / or recurrent sinus irritation or infections or allergies. I had that problem. The doc got me on the right track. I highly recommend the specialist. I say 2 general practioners before being diagnosed correctly-- neither was able to help.

If I am in a stuffy room my sinuses close up. Try circulating the air or opening a window for fresh air if you don't suffer from allergies. Nasal strips or pinching the bridge of the nose works. You might even try eating a peppermint or chewing some gum. Mint opens the sinuses.

I have this nifty little thing called a Netti Pot. It is a nasal wash/ rinse. It will clean out all of the junk in your nose and sinuses. Basically, you mix sea salt and warm water and you pour it in one nostril and let it run out the other. It is WONDERFUL for allergy sufferers, people with sinus infections and colds. All natural, no drugs. It helps shorten the cold and flu as well.

nasal strips. dont remember the brand name, but they come in a little box. next to the vicks and nasal sprays.
no chemicals, no drugs. you just wear it on your nose. it opens the passage ways.
it also helps with snoring. my sister in law loves them just for that!

Go to drugstore and buy those little strips that you put on the outside of your nose to help you not snore by breathing better.

I like to use the suda care plug ins when I sleep at night. I get super stuffy and have tried everything! The plug ins are great, they clear me up for the next 24 hours or so. You can get them at Walgreens or other drugstores.

Make a crab or shrimp boil in a large pot and let it simmer for a few hours on the stove in your house. It helps thouse in your house too.

first never, I said NEVER use nasal sprays. they will plug your nose up shortly after use and make you dependent upon them. Saline solution (warm salt water)can be sniffed up your nose and will loosen mucus up so you can get rid of it.
