I was nearly killed today. I was stopped at a traffic light waiting on it to turn. When it turned green, I proceeded straight across a 4-lane highway. Suddenly, I looked to my left and there was a large pick-up pulling a large trailor with a huge piece of equipment; like a backhoe or something barreling straight towards me, going way to fast, especially for a busy street thats lined up with businesses. This was no interstate. I went where I was going and left. Then I passed a Lowe's just past where he almost hit me and there was the truck. I called the police and reported it knowing that there's really nothing they could do except talk to him, but that's not even what's bothering me. I can't get over the fact of how CLOSE I was to being killed. I mean if I'd been going just 1mph faster or didn't look to the left and stop, I would be dead right now. I'm not exaggerating; I believe this to be true. I feel like maybe there's a reason, or that I need to talk to somebody. Is this normal?
