anxiety is not a disorder, is a symptom that may be part of various mental disorders or even medical conditions. Anxiety is a feeling, u just feel anxious, like apprenticing something bad is going to happen, u may be anxious about something in specific or u may be a general feeling, not really knowing what is bothering u or why u feel this way. Anxiety, unlike stress, usually feels like coming from inside, not external factors.
Anxiety disorders include generalised anxiety disorder, specific phobia and panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder.
Feeling anxious DOES NOT mean u have an anxiety disorder!
if u feel anxious most of the time and u think this interferes with your daily life and activities u can see a mental health professional for a proper evaluation because as i said it may be symptom of other conditions too. Take care!

Anxiety is self induced fear, that takes over your thoughts and actions and prevents you from focusing on anything other than the fear itself, causing you to feel restless, uneasy or in the most severe case, in a state of panic.
For example; if you're at work and you get a phone call from the police, you can no longer focus on your work and you're now afraid of what the police will tell you. Those feelings are feelings of anxiety.
Some anxiety that people experience is genetic, other anxiety comes with learned behavior.
For example, someone who survived a traumatic car accident will experience anxiety when they get in a car. Where someone with SAD (social anxiety disorder) will have a problem being in large groups because of their genetic disposition.

Anxiety symptoms can manifest in different ways. They can be both psychological and physical.
Physicals symptoms can trigger abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, dry mouth, rapid heartbeat, palpitations, tightness and pain in the chest region, shortness of breath, dizziness, frequent urination and even difficulty swallowing.
The psychological anxiety symptoms on the other hand include insomnia, irritability, anger, the inability to concentrate on various day to day tasks, a fear of madness, a fear of losing your mind and mental faculties, as well as the sense of being detached from reality and not having the ability to control your actions.
Everyone experiences anxiety in some form. It is those who suffer continuously that should seek help... whether it is medication or through other natural techniques.

Anxiety is like a mental disorder. There's different types of anxiety, some where people get all nervous or paranoid for no reason. It's bad to the point where people can puke whenever they get a sort of panic attack.

Anxiety are uneasy thoughts or fears about what may happen. You may feel troubled or worried about something. You know you have it when you feel uneasy about something. I have an anxiety about being in crowds and try my best to stay away from them.
