I'm planning to go on a two-week water fast (the purpose of my fast is mainly spiritual and has nothing to do with aesthetic reasons). I'll make sure I'm closely followed during the process by a doctor and stuff, but before I make up my mind about this, I was wondering if anyone knew how much weight I'm expected to lose. I don't want to end up looking like a scarecrow or somethin'! Thanx!

I am 13 and I weight 175 and I am 5'8 inches tall. I always feel like I am fat my firends say that I am anorxic because I always refuse to eat but I just feel so FAT. I stopped eating like yesterday I only had one meal...for fear of gaining weight. My mom says no matter how hard I try that I will always be big-boned I dont want to change that but I feel like I have a low self-esteem because i feel so FAT!!!

Some antipsychotic drugs have side effects like drowsiness,akathisia, low memory capacity, emotinal dullness or even tardive dyskinezia. Can such effects permanently affect healthy people even after the drug use has stopped?

More often than not, [what feels like] the backs of my eyes hurt. I can tell, because I roll my eyes forward and can feel rub the top/backs of my eyes with my fingers and I can tell there's pain. Is it even related to my sinuses or eyes? I should note that I do have constant sinus pressure and somewhat clogged sinuses. But the eyes issue is a regular thing, whereas the sinus pressure isn't always there. Hope you can help.

I have UC for about four and a half years now i get flairups from time to time but still i'm not living a normal life coz of the UC ... so I realy wanna know if there is any researshes going on from any part of the world to cure UC just to give me some hope to feel a litel better

I remember being told in school that the highest risk time to fall pregnant is the week inbetween your period (2 weeks after they've stopped, 2 weeks before they are due again).
Then a couple of days ago a friend swore black and blue that the highest risk time is actually the week after your period has finished, and also whilst you are mensturating.

HELP... I'm confused! When is the highest risk time.... anyone??

okay, so for last couple months i have been like bloating. I know its really weird but at school my stomach will expand (like its noticably bigger) and then i get like stomach pains, like as if its stretched out. this happens EVERYDAY, no joke but why?

I know there are so many different varieties of this question and i'm gonna add to it anyway. soo i'm 5'1 and im like 134 pounds. & i'm 15. much of it is weight i gained from pigging out over the summer, but do you think i'm like seriously overweight? cuase i think it'll drop off on its own. im not like completely unactive or anything but i cant say im on my feet all the time. and if you don't think im overweight (which is unlikely) i didnt ask this question for attention and your "oh,your not fat!"

I quit smoking a week ago and among the coughing and almost cold-like feelings, I've been eating more and have had a VERY short temperament...I just blew up at my best friend...so:
