Scientist believe that when women come off the pill they will quite oftenly causes vaginal thrush. Vaginal Thrush is a fungal infection which can be caused by being spread from your anus. Washing with strong soaps - at the vaginal and anus area -
can also upset the balance and bad baceria in your vagina. People with a low immune system can also suffer from this. There's good thrush creams on the market that you can try. Other than that, avoid hot baths, which kills good as well as bad bacteria. Wear cotton underwear and allow air to cirulate as much as possible.

Perhaps your hygiene should be examined. Here are some things to check:
Always wipe from front to back after using the toilet, to avoid spreading yeast from the anus to the vagina.
Wash the genital area daily with mild soap or sorbolene-glycerine cream.
Do not have vaginal intercourse immediately after anal intercourse.
Avoid antiseptic or irritating douches and perfumed sprays.
Do not wear tight fitting pants or synthetic underwear

Some people (like me, sadly) are just prone to it. Talk to your doctor. Eating lots of yogurt and drinking cranberry juice might keep the yeast infections at bay.

If you are sexually active, your partner has to be treated, too, or he might keep reinfecting you.
