I just got tinnitus in my right ear, I have't even been around loud sound today. It was just for like 2 seconds though, but it was strange. Anyone know why?

A friend of mine has a lot of problems with staying asleep. He can only sleep about 3, 4 or 5 hours before waking up. He has had this problem a while. But he doesn't want to take sleeping pills. Does anyone know a remedy?

I got punched in the eye about a week ago. The Dr. said I need surgery to repair a fracture in the bone around the eye. My question is this: my cornea (the white part) is still COMPLETELY red/purple. After i had I 131 radiation therapy for thryoid cancer, I had a scan done to look for any uptake. There was some uptake found in my liver and kidneys. I don't understand what that means. I don't understand my doctors accent, and have no clue what he was trying to explain to me.

well i dont eat meat.......but i do eat seafood like fish and shrimp and thats the only kind of meat i eat but today i did load myself with 6 oreo cookies and 4 hersheys white chocolate cookies. i just dont know if i am at a highrisk since my mom is diabetic. im not overweight. how do i reduce my risk? i have a huge sweet tooth. does the fact that i dont eat redmeat or pork or chiken (any meat other than seafood) decrease my chance? I had shin splints back during summer softball season. Now that the splints have been gone for about two months I have this pain when a walk. Everytime I step and apply weight on my left foot it hurts around the front ball near the big toe. My big toe is stiff like its jammed. The pain feels like it is between the big toe and second toe. The pain only comes and goes but is there each day. This has been going on since the shin splints went away. I don't think it is gout because of the time length I've had this. Any ideas of what this could be?

Ok. So the other day my eye started to hurt. I'm not sure of why or what caused it but it just hurt pretty damn bad...so i took out my contacts assuming that would fix my problem. But it didn't. My eye continues to hurt and tear. I know it sounds like pink eye-it very well could be-but there looks to be a little white spot or something on the edge of my iris. I don't know what it is, or what it COULD be. I would call the eye doctor, but its Saturday now. So if anyone has any ideas of what it could be~LET ME KNOW.

But i am still going to the eye doctor on Monday.

I know that there is a food additive called, "Natural Smoke Flavor" that's used to give a smoke flavor to some cheeses and other foods. I know from nutrition studies that Natural Smoke Flavor is derived from Formaldehyde (you know like embalming fluid) but the food processors went to the FDA and complained that if they have to show a formaldehyde derivative on the ingredient label, no one will buy the product. So could they call it Natural Smoke Flavor and the FDA said, "APPROVED".
