anything that makes you uncomfortable, but not said outright, plainly in clear english, more sort of behind your back, or 'implied' problems - iti s a form of bullying, so don't stand for it. Managers at work often use these kinds of tactics to get workers to comply

Indirect threat tends to be vague, unclear and ambiguous - this is exactly the same except it is perhaps geared mentally.

well i think id have to know the situation before i could describe an indirect threat to it.

I would say it was someone playing on fears you had real or imagined.And that that person knows you well enough toknow that what it is you worry about will cause you more stress etc if you feel there is some trurth in the implied threats
