My guess is that you were under a lot of stress at one time and sex became a stress reducer for you.
It could also be that you were sexually abused as a child -- this fact comes up again and again with sex addicts.

Actually, the good news is that you may just be overreacting. For a 20 year old, your behavior sounds pretty normal.
However, if there is a serious problem there that needs dealt with, dont feel bad, it is not an uncommon problem. I am a recovering addict. I know from personal experience that for me, anything that feels good can be addictive. The scientific mumbo jumbo though, if you want that, has to do with the levels of dopamine in your brain.

Why do you think you are addicted to sex ?? At 20, this is perfectly normal. Everybody at this age (and older too ...) like to make sex, alot and often. Other people you know who seems 'not addicted' are just to shy to admit it, but they are.
Having a sex buddy is perfectly normal if you feel OK with it.
