Ok. So the other day my eye started to hurt. I'm not sure of why or what caused it but it just hurt pretty damn bad...so i took out my contacts assuming that would fix my problem. But it didn't. My eye continues to hurt and tear. I know it sounds like pink eye-it very well could be-but there looks to be a little white spot or something on the edge of my iris. I don't know what it is, or what it COULD be. I would call the eye doctor, but its Saturday now. So if anyone has any ideas of what it could be~LET ME KNOW.

But i am still going to the eye doctor on Monday.

Yes I value my eyes but i'm not going to go running to the emergency room when my eye hurts. i have been wearing contacts for like 8 years, so i am used to things getting in them and I intially thought that was the culprit, but i was mistaken. Then I was busy all day and when i finally looked at my eye today there was that little white spot there. And i asked for HELP not critism, so kindly f*ck off.

well, do you over wear your contacts? if you overwear them it can give you a corneal ulcer or abrasion and it will still hurt even after you take your contacts out. You should definitely get checked by an ophthalomologist asap. that is something that wont go away on its own and if left untreated can be very bad.

Any contact user has to be concerned with an eye infection. I am confident your eye doctor will look for signs of an infection or corneal ulcer.

It's probably a stye. Either make an appointment with the eye doctor or your PCP. Under so circumstances should you touch it or otherwise screw around with it.

You may have scratched your eye. When you go to sleep, do you wake up with your eye glued shut? It is possible you have a object on your eye. Did you flush it out?

Have you been rubbing your eyes? Only do it with clean hands. And you might try rinsing you eyes a little using clean hands and clean water.

You get one set (or pair if your prefer) of eyes, they don't grow back or heal like a broken bone. So I ask you, what do you think you should do?
