Sometimes our bodies clock gets of track, and we can not sleep. I have had the problem for a long time. I usually sleep 5-6 hours a night. I was taking melatonin with is supposed to regulate our bodies natural clockwork. I know several people that did do it successfully. I just never kept taking the pills long enough to get results.

I have a lot of trouble sleeping, also. Some things I have found that help:
Valerian root and/or melatonin (these are herbs/supplements available over the counter) Melatonin is essential in telling your body it is time to sleep.
Meditation - just a simple (non-hokey ; ) meditation will tell your body and mind it is time to quiet and rest.
Watch what you eat and when - it's best not to eat too close to bedtime (unless he wakes because he is hungry). Certain foods can affect him in different ways and interrupt his sleep.
Good exercise - exercising (not *just* before bed) will both use up some energy that may be waking him up and help balance your system. I specifically suggest yoga. It really is not too demanding.

The synthetic mild from the pc monitor (or even your cell) can minimize melatonin (the sleep hormone) creation to your frame. Try taking a melatonin suppliment. I take 1mg melatonin on nights that I cannot sleep and it really works like a attraction! The handiest downfall to taking melatonin is if you are taking it each night time your frame gets used to it and you'll need to expand how a lot you are taking. I attempt to handiest take it sometimes. I additionally love sizzling tea containing camomile to support me chill out. Sleepy Time Tea with honey is individual. :)

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.
