i've been really depressed for a couple weeks now, and everything just seems so bleak. I just wish i could disappear. But how dismal is it to think i'm crazy enough for a shrink? I just don't want to make myself feel worse or more crazy if it isn't necessary. But how do i know if it is? I've been depressed in the past, but now it seems to be interfering with everything, my work, relationship, and creativity. what should i do?

Women who cannot have babies in a marriage for medical reasons would look forward to this and so would the husband... should doctors think of this in the ethical sense?

I have these hiccups that will not go away. Not only is it annoying, but it's starting to be really painful. I've tried drinking loads of water and holding my breath. I've tried the sugar trick. Nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions?

I am now at an age where I have doctor's appointments on a regular basis. One thing that seems common to all the offices is this: If you don't have exact change to cover your co-pay, the receptionist makes you feel like you ruined their day. They open a drawer, pull out a wrinkled envelope, find that there's little money there, and tell you to wait until they can find a way to give you your change. I can go into a Mom and Pop candy store and buy 11 cents worth of candy, hand them a $20 bill and have no problem getting change. I go into a doctor's office that makes money faster than a coke dealer and they can't change a $5 bill. What's up with that?

I just came from the hospital complainting of heart pain. They ran all the necessary test and I was found to be suffering from good old stress. I'm a 57 years old female and I have never had stress in my life. I've always been able to handle situations as they came up. But even now as Im typing this I can feel my chest tightning. Are there any medications out there to help with stress?

Is this normal? I've orgasmed many times before during sex, etc. Even vaginal orgasms. I know what an orgasm feels like. And I am wondering why is it that I can bring an orgasm on when I go pee (judging by how I hold in the urine, let it out, etc. etc. etc.). Its really strange. Has anyone else done this before? Or am I confused (which I highly doubt), or what!? .... is this from contracting the my pelvic muscle (I think that's what you call it), or what?

What can it be? Heart burn? Am I too young for that? I do not smoke, drink, and it does not occur after exercise. 8 out of 10 times it occur after eating. What can it be?

A couple of weeks ago I fell and pulled a muscle in my left leg. I have type 2 Diabetes and so I am aware that because of that injuries and illnesses take a longer time to recuperate from My Diabetes is under control. But this is just a pulled muscle. So I am baffled as to why this is taking longer than normal. Can somebody give me a clue?

i recently had my child immunized (5 needle pokes), before she started i asked the nurse why she was not wearing gloves, she said there is NO risk to my child or other children. the only one at risk was for her if she had a cut ! makes you wonder! what if there is still blood on her fingertips from the previuos child when she removes cotton ball to apply bandage on my child? could there be enough blood there to pass a disease through a fresh needle poke? my gp says there is a slim to none chance of passing any disease. i think that is a load of B.S. he says "with flu shot clinics of 1000 people, that's a new pair of gloves per patient (1000 pairs)! like the cost of the gloves was his concern. gp says there has never been a problem of this type.if you have been to a flu shot clinic, were the healthcare workers wearing/changing gloves or washing hands between each patient? do you know anybody who has caught a disease in this way? are gloves a must where you live?

I have noticed my foreskin has a white band on one side when i pull it back, it looks like the skin doesnt have any blood inside it, i havel also noticed what feel like little cuts on that part of the skin. I am 2 weeks into a new relationship and i keep telling her im not ready for sex only to hide the fact i cannot let her see this problem i have. Does anyone know what is causing it?
