i understand your feelings on this , since my 17 yr old son is dying of brainstem cancer . we did try chemo , but the treatment was stopped at the 7th treatment because it wasnt doing any good . he was offered to try radiation in the hopes that it would maybe slow down the tumor growth , but he refused . he said that if he was going to die no matter what , he didnt wont to be bothered with it and wanted to enjoy what time he had left doing whatever he wanted. now he only has maybe a month left , but he got what he wanted . we took him to the races , aquariums , disney world , basketball games, and he got to meet jeff gordon and tracy lawrence . look in your heart and talk to god , then you will know what to do........you will be in my thoughts and prayers

There is no guarantee for anything in life. You should really consider doing the treatment. At least you can go out saying you tried everything and nothing worked, instead of sitting back and wondering what if. I wish you well. Good Luck and may god be with you.

there will be lots of people with snake oil for you to try. Be aware. Most are trying to get money from you. Some things do work. I know of a guy who was diagnosed, and he increased his garlic intake to 4 or 5 bulbs (not cloves, but 4 or 5 bulbs) a day, and his cancer went into remission. I am not saying that garlic works, or that it works for any kind of cancer, but there is hope out there. Sometimes your body just needs something, and lots of it. Dont try garlic as a cure, and don't ty it just on my word of mouth recommendation. But perhaps it is worth looking into. And not just garlic, it could be a vitamin, a mineral, an herb... research!

Hello,
I think it is best to try out the treatment and see how you feel. You need to be stronger emotionally and have the will power to go through this. Begin your treatment immediately and if you feel like you cannot take any more of it, then stop. This is your life and you need to live every moment of it to the fullest. Ultimately, turn to the power of prayer. It is amazing how dedicating a few minutes everyday to prayer can uplift your spirits.
You will be remembered in my prayers.

There are alternative therapies available that are a lot less destructive than chemotherapy. Check out the first link below for information on a product called Cantron or Cancell. A good friend of mine took it nine years ago after she was diagnosed with stage-3 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and it helped keep her tumors from growing. Best wishes to you.
